[edit]Thanks for creating Elizabeth Tanner, Palebluesam!
Wikipedia editor Onel5969 just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Nice job on the first attempt. I would incorporate the Honors list into her Scientific career section as prose, with citations.

Zeromonk (talk) 16:34, 9 November 2018 (UTC)Speedy deletion nomination of Elaine Chew
[edit]Hello, Palebluesam,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username TomCat4680 and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I have tagged Elaine Chew for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. You may find our guide for writing quality articles to be extremely informative.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|TomCat4680}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

- Hi, I've moved this to Draft:Elaine Chew where it can be worked on at a slower pace without the threat of deletion. As I can see a citation to University College, London, it seems probable we will be able to have an article on her through meeting the notability guidelines for academics. You may be interested in Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red which is a group of people dedicated to filling in missing gaps in Wikipedia's coverage of women and women's history; I'll also ping two colleagues Megalibrarygirl and Rosiestep to see if they can help with the article. I hope that all makes sense. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:55, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
- Adding @Jesswade88 and Victuallers: as they may have access to additional references. --Rosiestep (talk) 17:42, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:34, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Jodie Bradby
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Jodie Bradby requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://physics.anu.edu.au/people/profile.php?ID=109. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 💵Money💵emoji💵Talk💸Help out at CCI! 13:53, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Money emoji: I've trimmed most of the obvious close paraphrasing, but what remains are formal titles for papers and named posts, which can't be written any other way. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 14:04, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
