Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Page center. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Avner Avraham, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Vexations (talk) 12:14, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Avner Avraham moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Avner Avraham, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Vexations (talk) 12:16, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

We don't require that sources are in English. It is not necessary to remove non-English sources; we do need the sources. Vexations (talk) 18:08, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Vexations, There is value in the person in Hebrew as well, and there are lots of sources, but I did not add them for the reason that they are in Hebrew. Feel free to look there and see that the entry has sources and is not an advertisement.
Vexations, Add the sources from the Hebrew entry? Page center (talk) 18:13, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Page center yes, if the English version of the article makes the same claims as the Hebrew version and no English sources exist to support those claims. If English sources that are just as good do exist, it is better to use those. Vexations (talk) 18:16, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Vexations, I will edit with the Hebrew sources. If there is an English source I would prefer it of course. For example, Avner is a former Mossad agent and appears in the Hebrew version as well as the English version of the Mossad organization web site. Page center (talk) 12:20, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Vexations I have added many sources to the entry, so I move it. Page center (talk) 10:38, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Avner Avraham moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Avner Avraham, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 13:42, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

onel5969Hello, why are you returning the entry to the draft after adding many sources? 18:35, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
