Slovak footballers

[edit]

Please improve your articles about Slovak footballers: add categories, infobox etc... so that they would get a wider audience and not be deleted. Think that quality is better than quantity.Cheers.--Latouffedisco (talk) 17:51, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seems you can't understand what I said. I will not improve all your stubs like I did for Ludovit Cvetler. Consider that most of your articles will be deleted if they remain that way. Moreover, you can be blocked for that. Think about that...--Latouffedisco (talk) 12:27, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was gonna say that threatening a block seems a little harsh, but you've re-created several articles without addressing the concerns raised when they were deleted, so it may actually have been warranted. --Closedmouth (talk) 12:55, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Articles about Slovak footballers

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you have created many articles about Slovak footballers and I appreciate your efforts to expand Wikipedia's coverage of Slovak football. However, in order to make sure these articles are not deleted, all articles should assert notability for the footballer (such as playing in a fully professional league or for a senior national football team). Please try and add sources for this such as links to fotbal.cz or national-football-teams.com or idnes.cz. Also, it is helpful to add infoboxes and categories to the article (especially Category:Slovak footballers) to help users find the articles. You may want to look at the changes I made to Ľubomír Luhový for an idea of what to do. Please let me know if you have questions. Best regards. Jogurney (talk) 15:47, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Justin Javorek, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. It seems that you have created quite a number of these very small articles. Rather than simply adding more, please consider expanding what you've already created. File source problem with File:1079540909 bicik-david.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:1079540909 bicik-david.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:11, 11 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 12:11, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Tomáš Bagi

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Tomáš Bagi. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tomáš Bagi. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion

[edit]
Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD. Generally, articles are speedily deleted when there is no assertion of significance or they fall into things to avoid. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting.
For basic information on beginning to write an article see User:Dloh/new.
Sourcing is incredibly important for an encyclopedia. Be sure to list your sources at the bottom of the article.
For more general information about the deletion process, please see User:Dlohcierekim/deletion
If you believe the subject does in fact meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information, please contact me on my talk page.

If you wish to make test edits or work on the article before creating it, you can create a test page at User:PALIO10/sandbox and consider using the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.

A tag has been placed on Martin Cseh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Csaba Kovacs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

The article Peter Gábriš has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Ivan Galád. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ivan Galád has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Miroslav Klose, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 17:19, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Repost of Tomáš Bagi

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tomáš Bagi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead recreating the page. Thank you. Global account

[edit]

Hi PALIO10! As a Steward I'm involved in the upcoming unification of all accounts organized by the Wikimedia Foundation (see m:Single User Login finalisation announcement). By looking at your account, I realized that you don't have a global account yet. In order to secure your name, I recommend you to create such account on your own by submitting your password on Special:MergeAccount and unifying your local accounts. If you have any problems with doing that or further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Cheers, —DerHexer (Talk) 01:13, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
