Hello, I saw you put down your name as an available translator between Spanish–English. I just have a minor proofreading request regarding the Spanish article of es:Sammis Reyes, which I used machine translation (DeepL) as a base before attempting to fix it up by hand. However due to my limited knowledge of the language (and Spanish Wiki guidelines), I'm fairly sure there are improvements to be made to any awkward phrases and idioms that I failed to notice. The article would also benefit from replacing the English citations (copied over from the original English article) with native Spanish ones, but that's something I could do on my own. Any amount of help would be appreciated. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 09:26, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hello! Of course, I'll work on that. I'll see if I can find some sources in Spanish as well to help. --Ozmanthus (talk) 13:45, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks! I've found a few newer sources in Spanish that could be used to consolidate a few of them too. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 06:59, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hello! I've been away from the wiki for a while due to personal reasons. I don't see any issues in the article! Let me know if you require any more aid. --Ozmanthus
- Thanks for the look over. I'm surprised a machine translated foundation apparently worked that well. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 18:46, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
- Technology, such a lovely little thing. ;) --Ozmanthus (talk) 18:54, 19 September 2021 (UTC)

Can you create English articles out of Spanish articles?
[edit]I'm an active member in English Wikipedia on the Philippines article. (https://xtools.wmflabs.org/articleinfo/en.wikipedia.org/History_of_the_Philippines) and I noticed two articles in Spanish Wikipedia that should be crucially translated into English, the Spanish articles on Ramón Fabié, a Filipino who joined the Mexican revolution and Juan Fermín de San Martín the brother of Argentinian Revolutionary José de San Martín, who migrated to the Philippines. I would like to expand the information on Argentinian and Mexican diplomatic relations with the Philippines, hence I consider these articles very important, can you translate those for me? I would like to do it myself but I'm not fluent in Spanish, I am afraid I might translate it wrong.-Rene Bascos Sarabia Jr. (talk) 14:35, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hello! Of course, translation from SPA to ENG is my specialty. I'll start working on those--Ozmanthus
- Quick edit. I finished the Ramón Fabié article! Let me know if you require any changes to be made. --Ozmanthus

Ramón Fabié moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Ramón Fabié, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello! Thank you for that, I wasn't aware. The article is a translation of its Spanish equivalent. I will do the same with the following article on my list. --Ozmanthus (talk) 18:53, 19 September 2021 (UTC)

Would you translate Tequio to English?
[edit]Hey, I saw you on the page of available translators. I came across an interesting word when I was reading a printed In These Time article about the workers on grape farms. I want to learn more about it, I love the idea but the article is only available in Spanish. If you're interested in translating it to English I'd really appreciate it and maybe it'll help popularize the idea in more English speaking places. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tequio Thanks :) RayScript (talk) 15:47, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
