Welcome

Welcome to Wikipedia.    — The Transhumanist   01:20, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to The Outlines WikiProject

[edit]

Although your presence in the WikiProject didn't last long, welcome, nonetheless. I hope you decide to sign up again. ;)    — The Transhumanist   01:20, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I may join again once I finish the other type of drafts I am working on as I do still have some ideas for potential outlines. Outlined Sandbox (talk) 14:42, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the outlines

[edit]

I've added them to the Community Bulletin Board at the Wikipedia:Community portal.

I'll give them a closer look as I find the time.    — The Transhumanist   01:20, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you wouldn't mind...

[edit]

I've been working on Outline of dyslexia, and have just moved it from draft space. I'd be honored if you would look it over to see if there was anything I missed, and if there are any improvements you can think of.

Cheers,    — The Transhumanist   01:20, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't found anything that I think needs improvement. I think it is a very good outline so well done for making it. :) Outlined Sandbox (talk) 14:40, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And, just in case...

[edit]

If you'd like to get neck deep in outline development, I just got a slew of notices on my talk page, warning about the 6 month deadline for edits to drafts I've worked on, and they are all outlines. There are over 80 notices, and therefore, over 80 outline drafts that could go *poof* if they aren't edited in time. Please take a look.

I built a tracker to display the last edit for all outline drafts to make it easy to see their big picture, here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Outlines/Draft tracker

Thank you.    — The Transhumanist   01:20, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will make sure to edit on the drafts you have made. I will probably be able to help edit Draft:Outline of Donald Trump since I am currently working on Draft:Index of Donald Trump-related articles. Thank you for telling me about them. :) Outlined Sandbox (talk) 15:00, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers

[edit]

If you have any questions about outlines or anything Wikipedia, feel free to ask me on my talk page.

I hope to see you around the outlines again soon. Cheers,    — The Transhumanist   01:20, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tip about creating new outlines

[edit]

It's generally best to create new outlines in a sandbox, instead of in draft space. There's less worry about deadlines that way. (I've got hundreds of sandboxes (though not outlines, per se), as subpages of my user page, and hardly anybody ever looks at them).

Just thought you might find this tip useful. Cheers,    — The Transhumanist   01:30, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the tip. I have now made a sandbox and will use it instead of making lots of drafts. Outlined Sandbox (talk) 14:56, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
