Keep Up the Work!

I'd like to thank and congratulate you for your efforts in fighting vandalism on the 12th of April 2010. I noticed you used Huggle (which I may is pretty quick at detection compared to Lupin). Anyway, keep it up, I look forward to seeing you around in future. Adrenalin 150% (talk) 13:24, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

Thankyou very much! Yes, I obtained Huggle after simply using the revert-tool, and before that, I did it old-school (which is very tedious). It's quite simple to download and use, if you have rollback rights.
Many thanks again, and good work on your part too! All the best, Orphan Wiki 13:28, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

Get a life.

U r a loser please stop doing ur crap —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whatsittoya17 (talkcontribs) 18:30, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

You suck. Get a life. Get a girlfriend. Get a job. Just get off Wikipedia and stop being a freaky loser who "fights vandalism" for a living. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whatsittoya18 (talkcontribs) 18:32, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Hello, and thanks for your comment. Just letting you know I don't fight vandalism "for a living", but rather just as a little extra amongst other things, in my hectic, fun-filled life. Yay! Sorry, can't stop, I'm off to have some fun away from Wikipedia. Orphan Wiki 18:44, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

HAHA. JOKE'S ON YOU.

You may have blocked my last account, but you're still a loser - I have like a million more of these stupid accounts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whatsittoya19 (talkcontribs) 18:36, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

I know you do. That's why they've ALL been blocked. Joke's on you, my man. Orphan Wiki 18:45, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Good job.

The Anti-Flame Barnstar
For keeping good humor with that troll above :) Pilif12p 17:28, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Well, it's the only way to deal with it without becoming agitated, really. Such attacks on Wikipedians shouldn't be allowed to bother us. Thankyou for your kind comment, really appreciated :). Keep up your good work, we both seem to operate in the anti-vandal area, so I hope we keep seeing each other. All the very best, Orphan Wiki 17:34, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
It's just occured again, below. Tedious isn't it? Lol ;) Orphan Wiki 18:00, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Question

HOW DO MAGNETS WORK? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.185.20.244 (talk) 17:54, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Well, maybe you should read the Magnet article? Then you'll find out! That would be of more use to you than vandalising articles with your seemingly rather urgent question. BTW, no need to shout, I'm not deaf ;) Orphan Wiki 17:58, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Sani Osaki

You appeared to have inadvertently restored the article on Sani Osaki which had been blanked by the article's original creator. Since there where no other significant contributions to the article before it was blanked by the original creator, it should have not been restored and instead tagged for speedy deletion under G7. —Farix (t | c) 00:08, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Many apologies, that will have been a mistake on my part whilst using Huggle. Orphan Wiki 07:37, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Authors blanking own pages

I wanted to drop you a note. Thanks for the work on reverting vandalism. On the article Martin A Love that I had put up for prod blp, that was the original author blanking the page. That is usually an indication that the author rethought their submission and want to delete the article, and shouldn't be treated as vandalism but instead marked with the appropriate WP:CSD template {{db-self}}. This criterion only applies if there are no other editors contributing to the article (beyond simple maintenance templates and such). I deleted the article, and removed your warning from the user's talkpage. Cheers! Syrthiss (talk) 16:12, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

OK, I'll take care about that, it has happened a few times now. Easy mistake to make using Huggle. Orphan Wiki 16:14, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Recently you reverted a Mblegacy (talk · contribs · count)'s blanking of a page that essentially they were the only author of (Off2riorob's edits were solely to place prod and g12 copyright violation notices). You are well intentioned, but you seriously need to fix this. Piling warnings on an editor who is trying to withdraw their flawed page is excessively WP:BITE-y. I'm kind of wondering how many other instances you have of this if I've run into it twice from you in 7 days. Syrthiss (talk) 12:00, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
The mistakes come from the fact that the speedy deletion template is removed. Unless the page is reverted, the template is not there, and you just have an empty space. There is obviously a way round this that I'm missing. I'm very very sorry for causing these things, but, as you can see, I am not the only one, and it is so easy to see a blanking / removal of Speedy Deletion template and act accordingly. It is not a regular occurance, I've got much better at spotting these, and this blip is the first in a while. I'll keep working on it. Orphan Wiki 12:19, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
Ok. :) No, you were what made me think about it but I don't think we're anywhere near that, since you realize the problem and are working on it. Still, I've seen other admins warn users that they would disable it and I don't know exactly how one would do that if I ever had to. :/ Syrthiss (talk) 13:09, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
Over 5,000 edits to Wikipedia, and many hours of dedication, and out of all that, 4 or 5 blips. Please don't twist the knife for those few errors, as I have done a lot of good for this encyclopedia. Everyone makes mistakes... Orphan Wiki 15:13, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
I'm not trying to upset you, or twist the knife or anything. Thats why I said 'I don't think we're anywhere near that'. I was explaining my thought process since you dug up the peripheral comment to Gurch out of my contributions. I hope this helps. If all I am doing is causing you stress then I'll disengage and stay off your talk page. Syrthiss (talk) 15:25, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
No it's fine. You can talk on my talkpage to your heart's content. :) Thankyou, Orphan Wiki 17:17, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for looking after my talkpage. Far out you're quick with Huggle, by the time a diff's loaded on my Huggle screen either you or Cluebot have reverted it! -- Lear's Fool (talk | contribs) 12:00, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

No problem my friend! Glad I could be of help. Well, I'm taking a break now, so the way's clear for you to Huggle away! ;) All the best, Orphan Wiki 12:04, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Jack Straw

Why do you think the bit below is unconstructive? I've started a discussion section in Talk:Jack Straw to discuss this.Aarghdvaark (talk) 12:10, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Castle remembers Straw for his competence and unfailing diligence, but was the originator of the comment that he was employed for his guile and low cunning[1].

Replied on talkpage. Orphan Wiki 12:16, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
