Re: Title capitalization
Thanks for the note about caps in Titles on the Marie Antoinette page. I was trying to help out, unlike the guy who was using the page to aleviate his boredom and send notes to his girlfriend. --VossBC 14:27, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Re: EverQuest II
Sorry about removing the repair kits. I honestly didn't know there was such an item. I don't think it was ever in the patch notes, and my Carpenter is only level 39 (the repair kit recipe is level 65). Thanks for adding it back in. Powers 21:20, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
Grogs
Hello. I saw that your put a speedy deletion tag on Grogs, which was what I was going to do too, but then a Google search showed it to be some fictitious thing in a science fiction ?book. So I will delete the tag. Thanks Mar de Sin Speak up! 22:37, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I see you have already deleted it. Mar de Sin Speak up!
Hi, I see that you tagged the article Openhat for speedy deletion, with the reason "NN Blog". Unfortunately "Non-notable blog" is not one of the [[WP:CSD|criteria for speedy deletion"; I've proposed deletion of the article using prod instead. Because the speedy deletion process does not allow editors any time to improve their articles, it is deliberatly designed only to be used in very specific cases, which are outlined in the CSD criteria. Please consider using the Prod or AfD process for similar articles in the future. Thanks, Gwernol 12:50, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi Onorem, I see you tagged the Fake Shark - Real Zombie! for speedy deletion as WP:CSD:G4 (db-repost). Unfortunately G4 only applies to articles that are reposted after being deleted following a AfD discussion. This article had previously been speedy deleted, so CSD:G4 does not apply to it. You should send it to AfD since its deletion is clearly contested. Thanks, Gwernol 11:53, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- No worries, it takes while to learn all the details. The list is essentially WP:CSD. The criteria for speedy deletion are split into sections; the first section is General and General Criteria #1 ("Patent Nonsense") is often known as G1; the second section is Articles, and Article Criteria #1 ("Very short articles providing little or no context") is often known as A1 etc. Best, Gwernol 12:17, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Hey Onorem Help Needed!!
can you do something about this page that I have been working on some one is messing it up. Have a look at it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rencin24 (talk • contribs)
Hi Onorem, I wanted to let you know that this article, which you nominated for speedy deletion, has been nominated for deletion through the AfD process instead. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harzewski Effect for the discussion page. Regards, Accurizer 20:58, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Onorem Dil
Im not spamming a service, i believe my links to be useful, non-profit information... I apologize for any problems. You are deleting my links, but other people on the same pages have spammy web sites that aren't not-for-profit. Have you actually looked at my links? - comment by User:Virtualinvasion moved from user page. I realise that i use google ads, but that doesn't mean that i am scamming wikipedia by linking to my useful information. If you were to look at the individual pages, you would realise that it's not crap. It provides more content than most of the other pages that are in the external links section. If I am providing all of that information for free, wouldn't i deserve to post google adsense to cover hosting costs? I've made a total of 8 dollars in 6 months, so it's obviously not the reason i am building the site. I realize that spamming is against the rules, but i dont see what i was doing as spamming. I was posting adding links to specific portions of my site that are highly related to the pages i put them on. All I ask is that you dont assume i am just some unreasonable spammer, but you check out the relevance of my pages that i was posting. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Virtualinvasion (talk • contribs)
Also, on the Drum_beat's page, the link titled 'http://www.angelfire.com/mac/keepitlive/drummers/hompage/drummers.htm" is complete crap - it has no useful content, and has ads everywhere. Please at least let me post my siteon that page if you are letting his stay...—Preceding unsigned comment added by Virtualinvasion (talk • contribs)

If you wish to delete this page made for myself then so be it. I have published a novel called Seasons of the Moon through Pirion Printers in Canberra, Australia October 2004. Because I don't have the proof of the publication nor am I noteable enough for wikipedia, I have no way of defending myself. I have many fans worldwide and support, I do not think having a wikipedia page will be of any use. It is for famous people only, and to add to their ego stand. I have no proof that I am a noteable besides by the "mere" peers you speak of. Christicehurst 14:55, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

Regarding www.drummingstyles.com external links - i do appreciate the message you put on my user page - thanks for understanding, i will take more time in the future edits - add to the content on the page instead of just put the links up - i guess i have to earn the right (or have other wikipedia users decide on the usefulness of my content). Thanks again, and take care - Joel

What can I say? The Chants of Mark McGhee was produced by Brighton & Hove Albion fans? How can I legally prove it?! I am a Brighton & Hove Albion fan adding some information of McGhee, so any future clubs he manages, fans of that club can refer to the chant we used. -1066seagull

Upcoming template changes
Hi, I've just noticed that you recently left a templated userpage message. I'm just bringing to your attention that the format and context of these templates will be shortly changing. It is recommended that you visit WikiProject user warnings and harmonisation discussion pages to find out how these changes could affect the templates you use. We also would appreciate any insights or thoughts you may have on the subject. Thanks for your understanding. Best regards Khukri (talk . contribs) 11:49, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Midnight Configuration
Yeah i was just Wikifying the Midnight Configuration article using Leaves' Eyes as a guide, and low and behold, while searching for information i found this website. MrTrev The Ghost has copied the website directly, which is a violation of policy in regards to copying copyrighted material, as well as the fact its completely POV and there is next to no information on the band available on the web. Alls i have been able to find is stores selling one of two albums. Is this article really justified taking up space? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.157.94.84 (talk • contribs)
nbajunkie links
Hi I am wondering why you removed the links I put up on wikipedia. They were there several months ago. If you go back on the history, you can find it. What I dont understand is they were all removed recently and I came back looking for those videos again. Why did you remove the link? Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.122.79 (talk • contribs)
Thanks for pointing this part out: "If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it."
Matt Pierce and Go Back
I do have a reliable source. Matt Pierce is a good friend to the family and has been working in the industry as along as I've known him, he started out working at the News Room and then he did commercials for the stores in town. I dont have like a link or anything, but I've seen his script and I've certainly seen the check that he was given for it. I dont know what else to give, but I know for a fact that he is working on that movie and that is his info. I've been to his other sets and this really is what he does for a living.
Thank you, Dothedew_12
I talked to him just now, he said the studio is called Mckinley Studios. But I suppose you want a source for that too, dont you? I understand your concern, I wouldn't want someone clogging up this site either but Pierce really is in Pre-Production on this movie. I'm not sure what else I can say. I know what you mean about the fact that he is 16. But we live in a small town, and he has been working at the News Room since he was 13. He used to be just a coffee boy, his dad worked there when he lived with the family. Pierce progressed from Coffee Boy to just about every job behind the camera. Then he was shooting commercials for the resteraunts and other businesses. I'll try and find his name in some of the news papers, it will be a big deal when this gets out. Its a low budget movie, but this(wikipedia page) is the kind of thing that would be important to him.
Thank You, Dothedew_12
Which one is the problem? Or is it both? The way I see it, if it wasn't me that created the page for 'Go Back' I would probabley be with you. But I think that Matt Pierce's page it kind of justified by my comments. Should I be looking for sources for both, because I'm finding it very hard to find anything that has Pierce's name on it that refers to his work.
Then I guess I've got to agree with you, niether he nor his project meet the standards to achieve status high enough to secure an article.
Yeah, i think he will have a place on here. You have my ok to go ahead and put the delete back up if you want to.
Farewell
Hey all, Its really a great joy for me to be a part of you all and to work with you all. Well I really do not know what to say. I was almost in tears when I got to know this. A big thanks to all of my friends. I am gonna miss you. I really hope you go and see.rencin24
User:209.158.166.135
In general I agree with you. This user, though, had 2 prior blocks and basically nothing but vandalism in its edit history. Thanks, NawlinWiki 17:52, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
MOMOJ:
I am new to wikipedia and I honeslty do not like being threatened with vandalism charges. I think the best buy site should definitely have information for those majority of users who are indeed consumers. Consumer protection information is not vandalism and I definitely would like to know whether the majority of wikipedia users think this is so. If so then I will gladly remove my edits as it is neither my intent to vandalize nor be banned from future editing of wikipedia. I have looked at the NPOV and usage terms pages of wikipedia and I do not believe the contents of my edits fall under the term vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Momoj (talk • contribs)
Best Buy Agent
You are obviously blind to the fact this issue has been discussed to great detail. You are mascarading as a concerned wiki member however your wholesale deleting of others content does not give you leverage. If you wish to make your concerns known state them publicly on the discussion page and use facts to support your position not idle threats. The delete key is a cowardly way to make an argument. --Momoj 01:07, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Best Buy
Please let's move the discussion to the Best Buy discussion page. Let's discuss your issues there. I think the Criticism section could be renamed. There is a compromise we can all make to get this page right and I'm willing to work with you to do it. --Momoj 01:29, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Onorem, at what point does Momoj's disruption on the Best Buy wiki go from "dispute" to "vandalism". He insists on posting unverifiable information, even at the request of several users that he find other sources for his information. Thanks for your help! B2bomber81 17:56, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Okay, so he was reported to admin then. I wasn't sure if he had been or not, or if there was some "key" thing that had to happen before he could be banned. Thanks for your assistance! B2bomber81 19:46, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
You have been blocked for 24 hours
For a 3 revert rule violation on Best Buy. --Woohookitty(meow) 12:52, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- I believe this block to be
completelyinappropriate.I did not revert more than 3 times, (I didn't even realize it was 4 in a 24 hour period as my edits occured over the course of 2 work days), and I continuously tried to get User:Momoj to engage in discussion on both his own talk page, the Best Buy talk page, and his IP talk page to no avail. What he was doing eventually amounted to vandalism. Fixing vandalism isn't supposed to count as a revert. --Onorem 13:01, 5 December 2006 (UTC)- OK, after checking closer, it was 4 edits (by 6 minutes)...I still feel that the block is inappropriate as my intentions were to repair vandalism. --Onorem 13:06, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Odd that they would find that your reverts fell under the 3RR, and not mine. And I think mine totalled like 5 or 6. Obviously more than yours. Oh well, it's done and Momoj has been suspended indefinitely. Thanks for all your help with that whole mess. I'm happy with the lock on the page for now. After a while I'll see about getting it unlocked. See ya round! B2bomber81 05:42, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
My article, Leona-Louise Lewis
I'm entitled to have an article on myself, fuckwit. Now stop "speedy deleting" it, whatever that is, or I'll see you in court!! I'm on The X Factor, and it gives me an inalienable right to write about myself, so there!! Ha ha ha! --Leonalewis 13:49, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm notable. Whether you like it or not!... Like I give a flying fuck about your so-called "civility law", or whatever WP:CIVIL is meant to be - is that an acronym, or something?? I've got an inalienable right to write about myself, and you've no right to stop me!! Stop smoking that waccy baccy stuff, and get back in the real world. --Leonalewis 13:52, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
While the above was definitely uncivil (and contained a legal threat), the subject of the article is indeed a finalist in The X Factor UK and Ireland series 3, the British-Isles equivalent of American Idol. There's certainly public interest in the show and its contestants. Last year's winner has his own page; so does one of the other current finalists. Why assert that this finalist should not be comparably reported? What about if she wins? – SAJordan talkcontribs 16:23, 8 Dec 2006 (UTC).
- Arson and leg-shaving? Then possibly it was someone impersonating the genuine person. There had been a Leona Lewis article, which (until it became a redirect) seemed straightforward enough; apparently that was written by fans of the show. – SAJordan talkcontribs 17:04, 8 Dec 2006 (UTC).
Note: On December 16, 2006, Leona Lewis won the competition, and her page is no longer a redirect but a full (and legitimate) article; Leona Louise Lewis redirects to it. (Now, so does Leona-Louise Lewis.) And the sunset is not yet directly opposite the heel stone! – SAJordan talkcontribs 21:27, 17 Dec 2006 (UTC).
Reorganization of Talk Page
Greetings! To promote a more efficient discussion and reorganize the talk page, when it is appropriate to edit the talk page? Are there portions that could be removed appropriately? I've seen some talk pages that are organized with headers titled according to the articles sections, so it's a little easier to follow the discussion. Because at this point, the talk page is a mess. No real order - just chaos! Do you think it would be appropriate to do this? Thanks! BTW, I'm referring to the Best Buy talk page. B2bomber81 01:25, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
