Thank You

Hey Thanks for your edit on Songs From The Road Cjones132002 (talk) 00:38, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of blues-rock cover songs. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of blues-rock cover songs. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

Excellent article! Have you thought about getting it mentioned on the main page, in the Did You Know? section? I'm happy to advise, or nominate it, if you want to do that. Ghmyrtle (talk) 07:01, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Assessments

Quite right, I made a mistake, it should have been a start, bordering on C class. I have amended to start. Good work, great to see those early blues songs get a mention. If there's any others you want me to re-assess let me know. Cheers --Richhoncho (talk) 08:46, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

Redirects.

If you ever move a page you will note that the standard option is move the talkpage at the same time and it will redirect exactly as I have done. It keeps all the talk (if any) on the same page, avoids duplication in the project. How many times does "Night Time Is the Right Time" actually need to be listed in the project? Does the project actually need misspellings, other capitalizations actually listed in the project? If these redirects had been to an album, or artist, or any other that than to a different title of the same song then you would have been absolutely correct. Furthermore, some editors add categories to redirects, i.e. for songs this could include date of creation, artist(s) and songwriter(s), some even add producers, but I can't say I approve of that! I guess we are both a little upset over the time wasted on this issue, but it's done now. Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 14:45, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

I have just raised a query over at the redirect talkpage, let's see if anybody will change it! --Richhoncho (talk) 15:31, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
BTW, have fun in the salt mines, it's a list that really needs some work, as it stands it's a waste of space; no albums, no recording/release dates and no songwriters. Plus most of the links are either now to all-but-empty articles pages, or to one's that have been converted to a redirect. --Richhoncho (talk) 15:46, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
The words we misread were (my capitals) "If a discussion/talk page exists for an article, please change the article's class to "class=Redirect" for all projects." I now understand our pain! Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 23:28, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

Shake 'Em on Down

Just a little Gnome here. You quoted some liner notes in Shake 'Em on Down as saying "with its shuffling rythms and risqué lyric".
Is the mis-spelling of rhythms in the original? or just a typo?
Arjayay (talk) 16:15, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

Thanks - when I can't get hold of the original, like this case, I don't know whether to correct the spelling or add [sic].

Folk Singer

hello,

ok, thanks for searching. Do you have Santelli's The best of the blues:the 101 essential albums? If I annoy you, sorry about that :), but it is important for this article. Regards. --♫GoP♫TCN 13:49, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

And do you know why Jimmy Lee Morris did not play bass on that album? And why Willie "Big Eyes" Smith not on drums?--♫GoP♫TCN 14:00, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

Nobody's Fault but Mine

On the one hand, it looks like you're adding some good information about Led Zeppelin's version of "Nobody's Fault but Mine". In the process, however, you're deleting a lot of information. Please work on integrating your information into the section about Zeppelin's version, rather than taking over the article to not mention any other version. —C.Fred (talk) 17:00, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

I don't understand this post; please explain. -Ojorojo (talk) 17:16, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Three edits in just over 24 hours is a problem. But I meant to post the WP:BRD comment to C.Fred's page. You've been discussing but C.Fred hasn't. My mistake. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:22, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
