Hi Kevin, this is Oksanna I'm just writing on you talk page now. I'll see you in class tomorrow as well.Oksoha (talk) 04:09, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Here is another citation I found that would be good for the page:

TASLITZ, A. E. (2013). CYBERSURVEILLANCE WITHOUT RESTRAINT? THE MEANING AND SOCIAL VALUE OF THE PROBABLE CAUSE AND REASONABLE SUSPICION STANDARDS IN GOVERNMENTAL ACCESS TO THIRD-PARTY ELECTRONIC RECORDS. Journal Of Criminal Law & Criminology, 103(3), 839-905.

Outline

[edit]
  • Broader Definition (Applicable to various country’s or a definition from a World Council)
  • Picture of someone searching a car or house, a constitution.
  • Table of Contents
  • Unites States History and Development English Law, Constitution, Terry v. Ohio (Others?)
  • Sweden
  • Definitions by countries
  • Other Countries (do we want to add more?)
  • Applications of Probable Cause Searches/ Special Circumstances
  • Other Countries – US Application (maybe include this in Definition by countries Exceptions
    • K9 units
    • Patriot Act
  • Probationers and Parolees
  • Cyber surveillance
  • Incident Investigations (Add Info and Ref)?)
  • Related Cases
  • References
  • Bibliography
  • External Links

I changed it a bit and added the exceptions part with K9 unit and the patriot act under it. I also added a few more references on the Probable Cause Talk page. The only thing bout this outline I'm concerned about is I cant seem to find anything on probable cause in other countries and I know we put that on the outline. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oksoha (talkcontribs) 03:20, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

So here is both of our review parts together, I figured maybe you would want to look at it before it was posted.

1.From the part you added to Wikipedia, it is all neutral point of view to include the outline portion, so good job on that. You used the textbook as your reference for the edit so that is obviously a reliable source, but try to find another few sources for your next edits. 2.In your sentence, “One of the differences between the British model and the U.S. model is that of balancing American constitutional rights, and the act of gathering intelligence.” You should change it to “… rights with the act of gathering intelligence.” Other than this, try to keep adding more info based off your outline. You have a nice outline, but you haven’t really added much to the page itself. 3. Looking at the outline for planned revisions I liked how there were specific citations included in the list of things to be adjusted in the article, such as increased intelligence-led policing beyond 1990's and 9/11 with the citation of carter and carter. An area that could be worked on is the vagueness of what is going to be done regarding certain things such as the "Possible of Expansion of Canada section". Maybe you could write some specific things that you would want to add or change. The "Expansion of issues and potential of current listed issues having been resolved or near resolved" part of the outline is kind of confusing and I'm not sure what is trying to be said or done to the article. A little clarification about this might be good. 4. In the next few weeks, things to focus on might be adding information to the article that are cited in the outline such as the possible expansion of sections. Oksoha (talk) 03:40, 7 November 2014 (UTC) Hey! don't forget to post your 500 words today and write your essay, cause they are due tomorrow. Also what do you think of the picture I added on the page?Oksoha (talk) 21:58, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
