[edit]Hi Octavosaurus! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at East Anatolian Fault that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Ah, sorry! I will amend that right now. Octavosaurus (talk) 21:22, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: 0 to 9 Magazine (October 12)
[edit]- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:0 to 9 Magazine and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- Hi there! Thanks for this. I added so, so many sources to the page after the initial draft got rejected; I'm not sure what else I can do to make sure it passes. 0-9 was a small printed publication so references on it aren't extensive, but it is important to the wider arts movement and to the lead artists who already have Wikipedia pages. Do you have any advice what else I can do? Thanks. Octavosaurus (talk) 13:41, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
Hello, Octavosaurus!
Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! Theroadislong (talk) 13:27, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

Event coordinator granted
[edit]After reviewing your request for the "eventcoordinator" permission, I have temporarily enabled the flag on your account until 2024-07-06. Keep in mind these things:
- The event coordinator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
- The event coordinator right allows you to temporarily add the "confirmed" permission to newly created accounts. You should not grant this for more than 10 days.
- The event coordinator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the event coordinator right will result in its removal by an administrator.
If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the event coordinator right. Happy editing! Elli (talk | contribs) 14:15, 10 June 2024 (UTC)

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:48, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
