Waters edits
[edit]Thanks for excellent additions to the Waters articles, just be careful to check after wikilinking names that they link to the correct person, your wikilinking of Pat Moran and Michael Potter linked them to articles of sports figures of those names. It's been easily fixed. Thanks! Mjpresson (talk) 03:28, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit]The titles of songs in musical theatre articles are not bolded. You have been advised of this previously in November 2008. Please look at the Musicals Project article structure guidelines here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Musical Theatre/Article Structure. We have a consensus on many sylistic issues, please try to keep them in mind when editing musicals articles. Also, generally dates are not wikilinked WP:MOS#DATES. Protection templates
[edit]I notice that you are adding protection templates to a number of articles. Please note that simply adding the template does not protect the page. Please read the protection policy for details. LeaveSleaves talk 06:50, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Your userpage has been deleted...again
[edit]Hi, Wikipedia policy specifically prevents the recreation of pages that have been deleted because of a deletion discussion. Thus, as your userpage was deleted per Mfd before, you cannot then re-create the same page without substantial changes. No substantial changes were made, and the concerns of the Mfd were not addressed, so I have deleted the page and protected it against creation. If you feel that the Mfd was in error, you may file a request at WP:Deletion review to overturn the Mfd result. Have a nice day,--Aervanath lives in the Orphanage 07:53, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Non-breaking spaces
[edit]Please do not remove non-breaking spaces from Valkyrie! Read WP:NBSP for why they exist. —Erik (talk • contrib) 01:21, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
- Also, please do not use
image_size
unless the image is less than 200px, per MOS:FILM#Infobox. —Erik (talk • contrib) 01:24, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please don't remove the {{DEFAULTSORT}} template from articles like you did at The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. This template helps categorize the film under the categories' "G" sections instead of the "T" sections. —Erik (talk • contrib) 16:26, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
- Why did you remove the same template from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button? If you did not understand my message above, please let me know. The template is a necessity for correct categorization. —Erik (talk • contrib) 21:49, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- I saw that you also removed the template from The Muppets Take Manhattan and The Simpsons Movie. Why are you going out of your way to make these detrimental edits? —Erik (talk • contrib) 21:54, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]Please stop editing film articles to formats that are contrary to the film project guidelines. Thank you. LiteraryMaven (talk) 15:13, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from The Green Mile (film). When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 00:39, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]If you want to edit film articles, please familiarize yourself with style and content guidelines and pay some attention to messages from those who are interested in helping you. Contributions that improve articles are more than welcome, but many of the edits you have made have not been constructive. Thank you, and Happy New Year. LiteraryMaven (talk) 16:35, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Please stop for a minute...
[edit]Stop making unsourced changes to articles without leaving edit summaries. Please review how to source your information before continuing to edit the film articles. Thank you. Mjpresson (talk) 04:08, 1 January 2009 (UTC) Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mjpresson (talk) 05:13, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Igby_Goes_Down.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Igby_Goes_Down.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rettetast (talk) 23:50, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add unsourced or original content. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You appear to add significant content to motion picture articles without indicating the source, or certainly not in the manner proscribed by the Manual of Style.
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary for your edits. Thank you. You also make no edit summary, which makes it difficult to establish a dialogue especially as you do not respond to queries on this talkpage (or on article talkpages). As such your conduct is disruptive, and I would now warn you that you need to review your approach to editing Wikipedia, which is maintained by consensual and co-operative editing practices. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Blue Seraph, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.tepnapafilms.com/about.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 04:12, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Copyright violation in J. T. Tepnapa
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on J. T. Tepnapa, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because J. T. Tepnapa is unquestionably copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting J. T. Tepnapa, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Proposed deletion of J. T. Tepnapa
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article J. T. Tepnapa, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Doesn't meet notability requirements
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 67.79.157.50 (talk) 15:31, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
