I've reverted your A9 tag on Robert Lay. A9 relates to musical recordings, not to musicians. Bazj (talk) 10:26, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Bazj: no probs, thanks for letting me know.OOblivion (talk) 10:35, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits & notifications

[edit]
  • Deletion nominations are NOT minor edits. Please don't mark them as minor.
  • When you nominate an article for deletion it's common courtesy to notify the article's author and any significant contributors. The deletion template you've added to the article tells you how to do that.
Regards, Bazj (talk) 10:37, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And {{Db-person}} does not apply to a newspaper. I think you should stop nominating articles for deletion until you've been around longer and understand what you're doing. Bazj (talk) 10:42, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Bazj: I am sure I did leave notification message on the talk pages.....oh apart from user: Onni1211 regarding the Robert_Lay article where I forgot to. And I get your point about not putting speedy deletions as minor edits, I will not I future. Thanks.OOblivion (talk) 10:56, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@OOblivion: I request that you use Twinkle to tag pages for deletion, as it automagically notifies the page creator. Also, give the deletion policy a good read. --QEDK (TC) 12:01, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Patrol

[edit]

Hi. We appreciate your enthusiasm but we are primarily here to build an encyclopedia. Please do not attempt any clean up or maintenance tasks until you have considerably more experience (at least 500 mainspace edits without any issues). Concentrate your efforts on adding new content and if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:07, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed typo. --QEDK (TC) 13:54, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion

[edit]

The warning you placed at User talk:Bazj#Please Stop was not appropriate - I have explained why over there. Also, please read and understand WP:AGF, and do not 'shout' at people using upper case phrases like "NOT YOURS!!!", and do not impute bad faith motives into their actions - things like "although by your actions it is quite clearly an admin position roll you strive for", "New page patrol troll...", and some other comments there were entirely inappropriate. In short, please spend some time actually getting to know what you're talking about and how Wikipedia works before you start lecturing other users (especially ones with more experience than you). And if there is anything you are uncertain of, please ask before acting - you are always welcome on my talk page and I'll always try to help if I can.
