Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Nppfarcenter, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as List of chancellors of Germany2, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Your contributed article, List of chancellors of Germany2

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, List of chancellors of Germany2. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of chancellors of Germany. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of chancellors of Germany. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Wikishovel (talk) 05:38, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 1960 United States presidential election: Revision history. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Hey man im josh (talk) 01:50, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:RichardHornsby per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/RichardHornsby. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The WordsmithTalk to me 22:41, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm no one's sockpuppet. I don't even know the man you're accusing. What have I done to make you think that?

Decline reason:

Simple denial is insufficient. Please address the concerns found at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/RichardHornsby/Archive. Yamla (talk) 11:38, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I thought Byrd should be on the 1960 election wikibox, so I made the edit, and no one else was involved in this decision. If you look at it, you'll see that I made many independent edits before. As for the identical summaries, it's just because I'm lazy and copied the summaries of the last person who restored Byrd. Nppfarcenter (talk) 18:26, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I might have believed the first part of this request, but I don't think the identical edit summaries are a coincidence or laziness. Maybe someone else will, but not me. 331dot (talk) 08:06, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

You can see my previous edits! Do you really think this fits the pattern of a sockpuppet? The 1960 election wiki was probably the only time I edited the same wiki as that person. I can provide further proof. What do you need? Nppfarcenter (talk) 11:01, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You're editing political articles, using the same edit summary as socks, quoting RfC's from 2018, all through webhosts/datacentres. I do not believe, at all, that this is a new account and that you're not evading a block or sanction. I'm also removing talk page access; WP:UTRS is available for appeals.
