Speedy deletion nomination of Roundu

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Roundu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. -Fimatic (talk | contribs) 18:49, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Shengus, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.mindat.org/loc-2529.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. October 2019

Information icon Hello, I'm Kautilya3. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Skardu seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 16:02, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Skardu is located in Gilgit-Baltistan which part of the United Nations recognised disputed State of Jammu and Kashmir. State of Pakistan (Supreme Court of Pakistan and Foreign Office of Pakistan have on record statements) also recognises Gilgit-Baltistan a disputed territory. Gilgit-Baltistan should be termed as Pakistan administered tertitory, as Pakistan has not made the area a constitional part of its territory. I think, to term Gilgit-Baltistan (Skardu) a territory of Pakistan not only goes against The Constitution of Pakistan also goes against the narritive of the United Nations. Terming Gilgit-Baltistan a 'Pakistan Administered Territory' is politically very neatral. Nosret Hocane (talk) 17:12, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The issue is also discussed on the Terminology section of Wikipedia page of Kashmir (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashmi). "The Government of India and Indian sources, refer to the territory under Pakistan control "Pakistan-occupied Kashmir" ("POK") or "Pakistan-held Kashmir" ("PHK"). The Government of Pakistan and Pakistani sources refer to the portion of Kashmir administered by India as "Indian-occupied Kashmir" ("IOK") or "Indian-held Kashmir" (IHK); The terms "Indian-administered Kashmir" and "Pakistani-administered Kashmir" are often used by neutral sources for the parts of the Kashmir region controlled by each country."
