Your GA nomination of 1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt
[edit]Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article 1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Your GA nomination of 1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt
[edit]The article 1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt for comments about the article, and Talk:1971 Moroccan coup attempt/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of Mike Christie -- Mike Christie (talk) 11:41, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
DYK for 1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt
[edit]On 2 June 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that though Mohamed Oufkir was appointed as Minister of Defence as a result of the 1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt, he would later organize his own coup? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, 1971 Moroccan coup d'état attempt), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

[edit]Hi good afternoon I see they are very good at editing. I and 5 other people tried to edit the Empires in the info box on Wikipedia Morocco. unfortunately they were all banned because of "sockpocket". Which is actually wrong because we are all different people. However, I see that you have the potential to change that. I have attached the sources that are also available in all other wikipedias. If necessary, I can take them more sources. Maybe you can do it :)))) -
Morocco lacks some dynasties under the establishment. Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

History of the Jews in Morocco
[edit]@NAADAAN: Hi! Thank you for your contributions. On 29 September 2022 [1] you arbitrarily moved History of the Jews in Morocco to History of Moroccan Jews because in your POV it "sounds awkward" to you. At the time there was/is already an article about the unique Moroccan Jews so that you created a misleading double. Your move also goes against long-standing WP:CONSENSUS, see, as important examples: (1) Talk:History of the Jews in Abkhazia#Requested move 5 June 2020 to KEEP the name/s "History of the Jews in ___" and to NOT change them, and (2) the recent decision at Talk:Jews in Madagascar#Requested move 1 November 2024 to move such articles to their correct titles of "History of the Jews in (country)". This is in keeping with articles relating to Jewish history in countries that should be titled "History of the Jews in (country)", see hundreds of examples of this in Category:Jewish history by country. Please revert your move or ask an admin's help to do so, citing my proof to you that your move, while obviously well-meaning, was neverthless unwarranted at the time.
