[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Art of War has been reverted.
Your edit here to The Art of War was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Art-of-War-by-Sun-Tzu/120114554773393?sk=wall) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 18:00, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Thomas Cleary do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to The Art of War. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. [edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Buddhism. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. JimRenge (talk) 17:06, 8 May 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Joshua Jonathan. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Theravada have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 18:04, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

[edit]1) please don't attempt to change the citation format in an article such as Yoga nidra - firstly it's rude; secondly, it's against policy; and thirdly, you didn't notice that it broke a link between a reference in the text and the cited book. So, please, don't.
2) please don't put books into 'External links' - firstly, we don't (ever) put books there; secondly, there's no point adding a book unless it's useful in some way; and thirdly, it looks much like spamming - I see you received a formal warning for doing just that a while back, so you should learn from that. Spamming
[edit]Please stop spamming Shambala books. We do not link to publisher sales pages and any additions which do will be reverted as spam. The ISBN is sufficient. If you work for Shambhala, you must disclose this.
