Hi Ossmann! You have reverted some changes I made to the Five_articles_of_remonstrance article, and I'm unsure why you did this. My edits were not intended to be vandalism. Also, note that I'm editing without logging in because of limitations set in place by my employer. Thanks!
Thanks Ossmann! That edit was a bad edit - I forgot you can't bold within a link. That was my bad, but thanks for the revert of your revert and your prompt response. You're an asset to Wikipedia.

Thanks for your greeting! I won't often be at en:, because I'm very active on de:. But sometimes I will help en-wikipedia by reverting vandalism. All the best --Ossmann (talk) 19:54, 8 February 2008 (UTC) (I hope you can understand my bad english :) )[reply]
I was actually trying to remove vandalism on the Prospect Heights article, unfortunately, I've no experience with reversion and I think I screwed it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.146.67.163 (talk) 20:53, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yeah you said you found my secret page. There's now a section where you can sign. Be sure to put the barnstar on your page!-- Barkjon 23:26, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes thanks again for reverting my user page Does this vandal get off on such peurile behaviour, I see he has a track record of doing this? Tmol42 (talk) 18:06, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok it's okay :) the edit pattern of the user who done it looks to me like they are a sockpuppet of the infamous User:Tile join, who has a massive sockpuppetry chain notorious for blanking userpages and then the pages of who revert them. AndreNatas (talk) 18:16, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I saw the warning on that IP's talk page saying they'd vandalized my user page. Good to know the recent changes patrollers are keeping an eye on everything. :D • Anakin(talk)20:18, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for reverting those! Not only do you revert, you update vandalism counters, too. :) Apparently, my userspace is completely self-maintaining. :P Cheers! Tuvok[T@lk/Improve]23:43, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot! Yeah catching vandals... I think that's my job. It's hard to understand why people do something like that, but it is so and we have to fight against them. Cheers! —ossmanntalk20:52, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for reverting the vandalism. It's an interesting thing; do you know what it means? I take it to be something like "Kosovo is a part of Serbia; Serbia is supported by Russia" Nyttend (talk) 19:22, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not well up on Serbo Croat but by comparisson to other slavic tongues (in particular Ukrainian СЕРЦЕ) it looks like "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia". -- Timberframe (talk) 14:08, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I just want to thank you for reverting that edit by that stupid vandal who replaced my page with "Terry Bogard thinks you're useless!" (This is contrast to the fact that I am, in fact, a huge Terry Bogard fan). I owe you one. ZeroGiga (Contact) 14:59, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. I just wanted to say thats for reverting the vandalism on my page! Sorry i dint say thanks sooner but you only really notice what has happened when you look in the history. Thanks again. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont12:32, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, it seems that the bot quit before completing its run last week. Here is the last two weeks' worth of Signpost. Ralbot (talk) 08:51, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please be aware that RoadRunner assigns IPs to a pool of users so your admonition reached the wrong person -- I know nothing about St Bernard dogs and have never touched that page. I have a login for the few occasions when I'm able to contribute.
Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.
If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 17:49, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I'm Ral315, editor-in-chief of the Wikipedia Signpost. It appears that you have not edited in at least a few months. To avoid spamming your talk page any further, should you be on leave, your name has been removed from the Signpost spamlist. If you wish to continue receiving the Signpost on your talk page, please leave a note on my talk page to that effect, and I will restore your name, and keep you on the list indefinitely. Puhh, I'm so sorry to us, but I took a wikipedia-outime, here and at :de. But now I decided to come back. I probably wont be so active as in the short time before, but I wish I can spend some time in the project :) B2T: Yeah thanks for stoping the spam. I decided to come back, but I don't accept it any more. Regards --—ossmanntalk15:04, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Blooded Edge! Thanks for the Barstar! The first active day after a wiki-break and I made over 900 edits (Huggle is fantastic!) :P. It feels greet to be back! Greetings —ossmanntalk18:07, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hehe I have to correct you, currently in the area of 1100 :D. You aren't using any programm? Puhh in the end it's your decision, but I can approve you Vandalfighter or Huggle. When you're working with one of these programms, everything will be easier, believe me. Oh, I see you also have rollback, then Huggle would be the perfect thing to you. There are many features, that help you fighting. When you work really hard, it's also easy to beat the bots :P. In the end, I hope you haven't got troubles to understand me. I'm a German native speaker, and my English is horrible :P Regards —ossmanntalk20:01, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sheesh, so far, I've only clocked up around 1550+ edits in total. Its insane the number of edits people accumulate by using such programmes :-(. Regarding your suggestions, I have actually thought about using huggle before. But currently, with GCSEs coming up this year, I cannot spend as much time on wiki as I would have liked to. After the exams are over, I'll try to download it ASAP. May have some difficulties at the beginning, when trying to get the hang of it, but hey I'm sure it will work out fine.
Even though you claim to be a native German, your english is superb! I personally thought you were from the middle-east (looking at your username), a bit stereotypical now that I look back. Anywho, regards, Blooded EdgeSign/Talk21:10, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hehe thanks but my treasury of words is very poor.. and sometimes I have to think very long, before I can answer.. Anyway I can understand what you mean. In such situations RL is more important!
I can assure that you won't have any problems, including the first days. I also downloaded it yesterday and the handing is very easy! Greetings, —ossmanntalk 15:28, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
All the same, I can understand perfectly what you're saying :). And if what you say about Huggle is true (not that you're lying), than I'm itching to try it out. Blooded EdgeSign/Talk16:17, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In the german language there is the adage: "Probieren statt studieren", which can be translate as: "Trying is better than thinking about something" ;-) —ossmanntalk16:50, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
While it is good to see the articles in Wikipedia are being protected from vandalism, you can still leave room for updated info, (possibly transferred to a holding page pending review).
the settlement of the outstanding class action lawsuits is important news, and there are deadlines that have to be met. (The deadline to remove yourself from the suit and persue your own already passed in August. The deadline to participate in the settlement is in October. The two relelvant websites are:

Ossmann, I'd like to thank you for voting in my RFA. Thanks also for expressing your trust in me, and I hope that I live up to your expectations. Don't forget, if you have any questions (or bits of advice), please leave a message on my talk page. Thanks again, SpencerT♦C02:29, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Again, how dramatic improvements of a stale article, with the most relevant information -- the DOJ findings -- at the top instead of back and forth about 2 year old allegations and the relocation of paragraph after paragraph of background info from the lede to below the table of contents is vandalism is beyond me. The article still needs vast improvements -- it has background on case law related to the general practice of hiring and firing of US attorneys higher than it does information on the actual scandal, which is very poor structure, but if efforts to improve and add info are immediately reverted it's not worth my time to improve. Again, take a look at what i was doing and then explain how it could in any way be construed as vandalism. I was also explaining my actions in the form.Bali ultimate (talk) 19:11, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm ok. I must confess that this isn't my area. In the heat of the moment I reverted this edit without looking "inside", very sorry about it. I only realised that someone who has a warning on his talk page deleted some text, and this was not my intention. Hope you will be able toimprove the article, I won't prevent you. —ossmanntalk19:40, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I saw that you beat me to the last revert on the Book of Kells. Nice Job. Looking at your user page, I found that you are a native speaker of German! I've been trying to find native speakers to help me with my translation of de:Inuit Kultur. Please take a look at User:Lithoderm/Inuit culture if you have the chance- any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, Lithoderm (talk) 15:18, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Lithoderm, that's right I am a native speaker of German. When you've got any questions I'll try to answer them as good as possibly. It's a pity that I'm not or lets say not really able to write in perfect english. But again, when you've got any questions don't be shy to ask.
PS:I visited your de:userpage and you made lots of misspellings and grammar mistakes. For example it would be correct to say: Lithoderm ist der deutsche Benutzernname von Lithoderm. But the very correct sentence will only be able to form by reshape the sentence.
Please vote at the Religion (2) section of Talk Page of the article Turkey, viewing Version 1 (my re-edited version for a neutral prospective) and Version 2, and decide which is the preferred version for the Religion section of Turkey at the below of the page, Agree or Disagree for Version 1, Thank you!!! Similarly to the complain above, you recently mis identified my ip address and accused me of vandalising the article Bilbao. As far as I am aware no such edits have been made from this computer, which is password protected, and I have not visited the article in question. I am unsure as to the correct procedure in these matters, however I am deleting the warning from my user page. Another such accusation has also been made regarding a different article, which I am also deleting. Thanks 78.150.176.129 (talk) 23:00, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
