Georgian passport
[edit]- Hello, Noblesham, I'd like to ask you if you could help us to put a new (old one was innacurate) map for Georgian passport page? we just updated the page with latest IATA information and would like to put a map reflecting for example dark green color the visa free travel, light green the visa on arrival possibilities and grey color for visa prior to arrival options. Our travel options are not too much, it's less then 65 countries on both options all together... The page was for years without any reliable information but finally we made it! unfortunatelly we do not know how to put a map in there. thank you. --Lasha2244 (talk) 19:18, 7 September 2008
Irish passport
[edit]An external link, rather than a long list that will quickly become obsolete because of changes, would be more appropriate for passport acceptance. Theirfore I have reverted your edit. Regards. Djegan 12:54, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- Their is potentially a logical error in your data, it says "European Union unlimited access", however it also mentions that their is a 90 day limit in "Faroe Islands", "Monaco", "San Marino", "Vatican City" and annotes these as "same as Denmark", "same as France", "same as Italy" and "same as Italy" respectively. Note that Denmark, France, and Italy are part of the European Union and that "unlimited access" can hardly be equated with "90 days (same as Denmark/France/Italy/Italy)". So which is correct "unlimited access" or "90 days (same as XXX)"? Djegan 14:25, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Philippine passport

- Hello, Noblesham thanks for making a visa free map for the Philippine passport but Iraq was coloured blue but the policy is that citizens of the Philippines are not allowed to go Iraq, Somalia, Lebanon and Nigeria. It is ok if you could revise the map ASAP. Rizalninoynapoleon (talk) 12:06, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please Nobelsham revise the map since there is a passport ban in Iraq, Somalia, Lebanon and Nigeria. Rizalninoynapoleon 08:28, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
according to IATA timatic, still Iraq is still visa free. Please provide your sources to support your saying. Noblesham00:45, 3 November 2007 (UTC+8)

Qatar visa and other countries
[edit]For the Liberia/Tajikistan dicussion, please see the reply on my talk page.
On Qatar : I am a bit unsure about what IATA says on theat visa for two reasons :
1) Price : I last went to Qatar a year ago, and despite that visa prices being liste as 100 Riyal even back then, the visa was only 55 QAR. 2) Length : [2] lists the length being 14 days, (plus 7 days extra if a joint Oman-Qatar visa is issued) and that was what I got last year, so I'm a bit unsure if the time span was (very) recently extended or if this is simply a mistake in the IATA database. Passportguy (talk) 19:13, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for sharing your travel experience. Recently I have found timatic system changed Qatar visa on arrival for 1 month. I have sent email to the authority to confirm, no replies so far. Noblesham (talk) 03:24, 30 April 2008 (UTC+8)
- The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs at http://english.mofa.gov.qa/visa.htm plus http://english.mofa.gov.qa/details.cfm?id=93 lists yet another price (50 QAR) and has the length at two weeks (extendable for another two). Passportguy (talk) 20:01, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Tajikistan VOA
[edit]Have you considered your opinion on whether or not Tajikistan's 45 day on-arrival (but invitation required) visas should qualify as VOA for the purposes of the various lists ? Passportguy (talk) 10:19, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Btw : After looking around the internet, it seems that a letter of invitaion is no longer required. See http://www.pamirs.org/visas.htm. It seems odd anyways, as most Tajik embassies in europe don't require this letter from Europeans. I'll see if I can find (semi-)official confirmation of this somewhere. Passportguy (talk) 10:21, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
I have read several travel forum, and quite a number of them said a LOI is not required. Its quite inconsistent with IATA info provided.
- I'll put Tajkistan on the list for now. (45 days, visa on arrival) Passportguy (talk) 11:04, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Will you consider to put Qatar in?Since it is visa on arribal accessible afterall, though the duration of stay and the fee confused. Noblesham (talk) 18:54, 2 May 2008 (UTC+8)
- Qatar is already on the Dutch passport list. Or were you refering to another list ? Passportguy (talk) 11:04, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Okay~thank you. I am going to do Italian passport afterwards. Noblesham (talk) 19:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC+8)
- When doing so, just keep in mind that Liberia and Sao Tomé are not/no longer VOA countries. Passportguy (talk) 11:26, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
St. Barthélemy & St. Martin
[edit]When updating the sections on the visa-free territories for EU/EFTA citziens, please take note that despite haveing been seperated from Guadeloupe recently, these two territories are still part of the EU and therefore continue to offer unlimizted access to EU/EFTA citizens. Also note that the offcial maximum for non-EU/EFTA citizens is actually 90 days, not 3 months or 1 month as sometimes till stated on some sites. Passportguy (talk) 14:50, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
FYI, these 2 places are French collectivities, not the EU outmost region, they neither apply EU law nor join Schengen. Thats why "90 days" but not unlimited access. Noblesham (talk) 23:00, 2 May 2008 (UTC+8)
- Yes, they are collectivies, but since they have just split from Guadeloupe they remain part of the EU. This has recently been confirmed by the Treaty of Lisbon. Passportguy (talk) 15:15, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Treaty of Lisbon has not yet been ratified and put into force until 2009. Noblesham (talk) 23:17, 2 May 2008 (UTC+8)
Réunion
[edit]Since you are copying these lists from one page to another : Réunion is also part of the EU (as a DOM), i.e. also unlimited access (like French Guiana et al) 15:20, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
I agree Réunion is part of EU, cuz it is an EU outmost region. Thus, unlimited access. But St. Bath and St. Martin split from Guadeloupe because they dun want to be part of EU outmost region.
Noblesham 23:32 2 May 2008 (UTC+8)
- Read the treat of Lisbon. It clearly states in article 287 that "Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin" are part of the EU. See [3]. It was specifically altered ftom "Overseas departments" to accomodate St. Barts & St. Martin. Passportguy (talk) 16:26, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for pointing out and I have read. Noblesham 01:25 3 May 2008 (UTC+8)
US Passport
[edit]On the map you created for the US Passport, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) needs to be removed from visa free travel. As of February 2009, they require a visa prior to arrival. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Primecoordinator (talk • contribs) 10:08, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

[edit]File:USVisaFreeMap.PNG
[edit]Hi. I saw that you created File:USVisaFreeMap.PNG. The talk page regarding visas for Americans lists some new relevant information about Australia, Puerto Rico, and Azerbaijan. I don't know if you are still into editing images, but it would be greatly appreciated. Also, does "visa-free" there mean "at no cost"? Before I was interpreting it as "without stamping a visa," but this is obviously incorrect. 謝謝! Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 15:04, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
