Speedy deletion nomination of File:Martin Jay.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Martin Jay.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [2], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Disambiguation link notification for August 3
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tumbleweed, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Trope. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

New articles
[edit]You're creating a lot of new articles for different years, which is great, but would it be possible to slow down and add some references? Bradv 04:48, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- The pages have links to people or events of a certain year; look to see if those pages have references for whether or not that person or event really died, was born, or occurred at the currently written date. NoToleranceForIntolerance (talk) 04:50, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Dvno
[edit]A tag has been placed on Dvno requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
- disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
Please improve your edit summaries
[edit]Your recent edits, such as this one and this one have confusing and misleading edit summaries. Please read WP:SUMMARYNO and try to write better edit summaries. An edit with a misleading summary is at risk of being mistaken for vandalism! Lklundin (talk) 21:48, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
- I see you've had this brought up before. Please stop making edit notes like this. It has nothing to do with what you changed, and I took it as spam at first glance. You seem to frequently post external links as edit notes that have no direct context to the changes you made. Stop please. -- ferret (talk) 15:16, 17 November 2017 (UTC)

The article Mistaken (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable film, has no independent coverage, does not meet WP:NF
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. BOVINEBOY2008 14:27, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
