M. Bison

[edit]

I don't know if you are this IP, but to be clear: M. Bison's full name is not Mike Bison. The "M" is ambiguous. You're probably thinking of Balrog, who is Mike Bison in Japan. Look it up. Thanks, TheStickMan[✆Talk] 16:28, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Again, the "M" is left ambiguous. "Master" is a title used only in Alpha 3 and is in no way a confirmation of what the "M" stands for. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 17:38, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Cliff Burton playing bass.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on File:Burton playing bass.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you upload a blatantly unencyclopedic image, as you did at Cliff_Burton. You have been repeatedly disciplined and then blocked for uploading nonfree images to this article. You are a robotically blatant offender on this, and you appear to have a stubborn lack of comprehension of how copyright works or what free vs. non-free means. I mean my goodness, every single thing you've written on your image description is patent nonsense, such as "Because this image is used to head an article, the article needs an image of the actual musician". People have told you repeatedly, and the documentation is right there. Many of your other small edits are good, so focus on what you're doing right instead of trying so very very hard to keep yourself blocked. Thanks.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Redemption Song, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Acoustic. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Is there a way your able to try and get a picture of Bill Ward from a website that allows photos to used in places like here. Flickr pretty much has nothing but copyrighted photos I can’t use. A.R.M. 22:40, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
