Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Roxanne (song), did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 18:24, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Paradise by the Dashboard Light, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. - FlightTime Public (open channel) 02:03, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Ghost in the Machine (album). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - FlightTime Public (open channel) 02:06, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Echoes of Love (The Doobie Brothers song)

[edit]

Hi there, for the article you wrote Echoes of Love (The Doobie Brothers song), the first sentence is inconsistent with the title. You should really say more about this song, else it's not worth having an article separate to the page Livin' on the Fault Line. If you have nothing to add, it can be redirected to Livin' on the Fault Line. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:38, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Nicolás Fernández Maldonado. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Magneto and Titanium Man, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joe English (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:29, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of notable Yamaha CS-80 users. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 15:42, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Block evasion by multiple IPs

[edit]

Multiple IPs from Argentina have been performing the same kinds of edits, and restoring edits made by Nicolás Fernández Maldonado. (For instance, this sequence.[1][2]) Below is a list of involved IPs. As a result of the disruption, the range Special:Contributions/2800:21A0:4000:1378:0:0:0:0/64 was blocked today with a duration of three months. Binksternet (talk) 21:23, 28 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
