Page Blanking

On 03-Apr, you blanked Collected Stories (Hemingway). Blanking pages is generally considered a bad idea. I've reverted it to the previous version and removed the circular redirect at Ernest Hemingway. If this was the result of a broken edit, you may wish to make the correct edits. If you believe the redirect should be deleted, please follow the redirect portion of the deletion procedures. If you believe an article should be written instead of the redirect, please write a stub. If you have questions, please let me know. Thanks! -- JLaTondre 23:22, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Copied from my talk page: This diff [1] shows that it did get blanked by you. That can happen by accident which is why my note included the line 'If this was the result of a broken edit, you may wish to make the correct edits." Thanks. -- JLaTondre 12:26, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

STOP IT

Stop attacking me. WP:NPA If you fail to do this, I'll have an admin block you. Ardenn 20:44, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I can't do that. Wikipedia is not a junkyard, it's an encyclopedia. Ardenn 20:49, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Nick, please tone it down. I do not believe this is an instance of a personal attack, but if there is continued cases of this (see [2] and [3]), you will be reported on WP:AN/I where other admins might decide it is a personal attack. Admrb♉ltz (tcbpdm) 21:00, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

I removed Image:Vancouver Canucks.gif from your userpage because it is a fair use image. Wikipedia policy, as outlined at Wikipedia:Fair_use#Policy item #9, prohibits the use of such images outside of the main article namespace. Your userpage is not part of the main article namespace. As such, you may not use such images on your userpage. I have reverted your re-insertion of the images. Please do not re-add the image, or any other fair use images, to your userpage. Thank you. --Durin 21:53, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi, is there a reason that you've red-linked all the entries on this page? I was specifically identifying those pages with real wikilinks...! Budgiekiller 20:55, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

And you've linked to pages that aren't correct. I'm going to revert this change, but please let me know if you have a good reason for your edit. Budgiekiller 20:59, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
I see you've reverted my revert. I'm not getting involved with this, but I would like to point out a couple of things. (1) When wiki-linking, you should check that the link you've created actually links to the correct person (e.g. your link to Donald McRae who died before he could have written the two books he won awards for, (2) A link does not already exist (e.g. the Seabiscuit link) and (3) that you create the link correctly (e.g. In Black and White: The Untold Story of Joe Louis and Jesse Owens, not In Black and White: The Untold Story of Joe Louis and Jesse Owens. I understand that you want the books linked to, and I will be doing this, but in the meantime, please wiki-link with care. Budgiekiller 06:52, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Please stop incorrectly wiki-linking as you did with Donald McRae and Stephen Jones. These incorrect links are easily overlooked and add unnecessary inaccuracies to the Wikipedia. Budgiekiller 11:52, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Please assume good faith when dealing with other editors. See Wikipedia:Assume good faith for the guidelines on this. Happy editing! --Ardenn 18:17, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Ardenn 18:17, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Blocked

You have been blocked, per the block log for violations of NPA, and for telling a user to create a sockpuppet (like you have, which I am blocking). It expires in an hour. Cool down please. Admrb♉ltz (tclog) 23:05, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
