Welcome Nick Bizer!

Hello Nick Bizer. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm Sm8900, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Information icon Hello, I'm Telenovelafan215. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mi corazón es tuyo, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Telenovelafan215 (talk) 15:11, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thank you for your message and politeness. You see, the problem is that there are many mistakes in all those articles, especially when it comes to the awards and nominations recieved by every show and its actors, so I was, let's say, trying to correct them, I really hope I haven't been causing any trouble...
I mainly do those changes based on the facts that I remember from that time, when I still used to watch those kind of programs (I don't really watch them anymore, but let's say that I have too much free time and few things to do for the moment which is a bad thing, frankly, ha-ha!).
The information I added on articles such as Mi corazón es tuyo or Lo que la vida me robó can be found, for example, in this blog which, unfortunately, is in Spanish: https://www.novelalounge.com/2015/02/premios-tvynovelas-2015-nominados-a-favoritos-del-publico/
Here is the right information about that category called "Favoritos del público" or "Audience Favorites". There are also blogs that post information that is incorect and that may be the reason why some editors get confused.
And here is that year's official nominees list: https://www.univision.com/novelas/premios-tv-y-novelas/conoce-a-los-nominados-a-premios-tvynovelas-2015
I also use information from a blog called "Recordar es Vivir", don't know if you've heard about it, but it's one of the few reliable blogs on the internet that contains information about old shows like Cadenas de amargura, one of my all-time favorite mexican TV shows, for example...
Anyway, you tell me... If you wish, I can just stop editing, there's absolutely no problem for me.
Greetings, man! Nick Bizer (talk) 16:09, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:24, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 31st TVyNovelas Awards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pedro Fernández. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:04, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Got the information from the forum below: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/foroarchivodelactorfernadocolunga/amor-real-lvaro-cueva-golden-awards-opciones-t892.html#p1358
It's from the time when "Amor real" was awarded by Álvaro Cueva as the greatest telenovela almost 20 years ago... Then, you think it would be OK if I added this link?
Greetings! Nick Bizer (talk) 13:24, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. A forum is generally unacceptable as a source due to it being user-generated content. You can read WP:USERGENERATED for more details. Telenovelafan215 (talk) 17:23, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Had no idea... Anyway, nothing's wrong if you delete it... I mean, I found that site while browsing and thought it would be fine to include the information, althought it's far from important, really...
Thanks for your reply and your clarification! Nick Bizer (talk) 17:48, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Las secretas intenciones, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have been warned multiple times about your persistent addition of unsourced but you continue to do it. Telenovelafan215 (talk) 05:20, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Found the information in the links below, but I don't know how to cite. Could you show me how to do it? And neither do I know if the source is connsidered reliable, honestly... It's about the information I added in "Las secretas intenciones". You decide!

Greetings! Nick Bizer (talk) 10:43, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Those are not reliable sources. It's not just that you can find information somewhere else in order to add it to Wikipedia. It needs to be found in sources with a reputation for reliability. Not all possible information will be in such sources; in such case it just can't be written in Wikipedia. That happens. --Jayron32 15:10, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No problem! That's exactly why I asked, anyway...

Removal of cast members on Para volver a amar (TV series)

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Telenovelafan215. I noticed that you recently removed content from Para volver a amar (TV series) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Information icon Hello, I'm Telenovelafan215. I noticed that you recently removed content from 23rd TVyNovelas Awards without adequately explaining why. Eric Morales is also mentioned as recipient of the Best Director award per this source that is included on the page. Do not remove him as you did in this edit. Telenovelafan215 (talk) 21:22, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Indeed, you're right... I'm sorry. I had read that article and hadn't noticed, it's my fault... Which means the award was not special as in the former years, when only one director recieved it. I had originally put that right and then edited it again, I'm really sorry. Usually, when a single director was mentioned, it used to be a Special Award... Here, it seems it was not the case.
Have a nice day and thanks for your explanation!
I also wanted to point out something about the awards received by "Amor real", but I'll send you a personal message and you can check it out. Thank you, really! Sometimes one doesn't notice some details and it's great when we help each other, honestly speaking... Nick Bizer (talk) 14:31, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Rosalinda (Mexican TV series), without citing a reliable source.
