[edit]Hi Neutralaccounting, and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your good work at 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict, and I just wanted to point you to the Wikipedia:Manual of Style, so that all of your future editing can be in line with it. Keep up the good work, TewfikTalk 01:26, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Iraq War, are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop. Consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. -MBK004 18:42, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- I added a link to a poll showing that %41 of Americans believe Saddam Hussein is behin the 9/11 attacks. The formatting was flawed and I clicked on the revert link as the code got all wonky in my web browser. There is no vandalism in this. Neutralaccounting (talk) 19:30, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Test of paragraph for Iraq War
[edit]At the start of the war in 2003 a majority of people in the U.S. believed that Saddam Hussein was behind the 9/11 attacks launched by al-Qaeda. [1] [2] . U.S. officials by 2004 emphathized that Iraq had in its possession weapons of mass destruction that posed a imminent threat to the security and interests of the United States, Europe and the other nations of the Middle East.[3][4] The intelligence was supported by British intelligence [5]. A year after the invasion the American President went on the record stating that there was a link between Saddam and al Qaeda [6]
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Iraq War, you will be blocked from editing. -MBK004 19:43, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- You should assume good faith. I've posted edits using Opera 6.0, the content of them is in the Talk page. It is my intention to post edits, not to blank the page. I was unaware that Opera 6 would blank the page. I've never heard of it happening before. Neutralaccounting (talk) 20:31, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Christopher Columbus has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Washburnmav (talk) 18:49, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'll do more edit summary *and* add notes next time. Neutralaccounting (talk) 18:51, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
<-- Test !-->
Please do not violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, as you did with this edit to Christopher Columbus. Thanks. Washburnmav (talk) 19:30, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- A controversial subject of history was responsible for torture and mass rape and infantcide on a grand scale. However, you try to keep that out of the article. That's not neutral POV- it's just white washing. Neutralaccounting (talk) 19:47, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Channel4-d.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Channel4-d.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Melesse (talk) 21:19, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- The news anchor in question is a woman who was the news anchor for the national television program from the now destroyed country of Tamil Elaam. As neither the country, nor the news program, nor the company that produced the news program, nor the anchor woman now exists all that remains is digital copies of their physical presence. As such there can be no claim of copyright restrictions on the use of this image as its copy by Channel4 does not grant them Copyright to this image. [edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. Please note that we take very seriously our criteria on non-free image uploads and users who repeatedly upload or misuse non-free images may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. ΔT The only constant 01:32, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

- You cannot display non-free files on talk pages. that is non-debatable. they will be removed. ΔT The only constant 02:04, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- You can link to them. See [[2]] rule 9 and I quote "To prevent an image category from displaying thumbnails, add __NOGALLERY__ to it; images are linked, not inlined, from talk pages when they are a topic of discussion." So images can be linked to even if they are not displayed. Additionally In general, the rule for editing or deleting a comment that you or another editor has posted to an article talk page is simple: Don't. Neutralaccounting (talk) 02:10, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- Correct, __NOGALLERY__ doesnt work on talk pages, only categories. Feel free to link to the file, just do not display it. ΔT The only constant 02:14, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

- Delta has it right. This is a long-standing rule. If you want to refer to a non-free image on a talk page, you can do it by placing the usual link, adding a colon just after the leading square brackets. That will provide a link to the photo without displaying it. It may seem tedious, but that's the rule. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 02:15, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

I encourage participation on the talk page and discussion of the addition of this media to reach group consensus over time over verifiable information rather then editing my posts. [edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Talk:Alleged war crimes during the Sri Lankan Civil War. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. ΔT The only constant 02:17, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- I encourage reaching common consensus on both the article and talk pages. However editing my posts rather then engaging in my invitation to discuss my change to the article page is not what is happening. I encourage you to read 'Wikipedia: The Missing Manual Collaborating_with_Other_Editors Communicating with Your Fellow Editors and in particular 'In general, the rule for editing or deleting a comment that you or another editor has posted to an article talk page is simple: Don't. That goes for fixing spelling errors, typos, run-on sentences, or any other minor wording changes, no matter how trivial. At Wikipedia, a talk page is essentially a transcript; no matter how well-intentioned you are in your editing, other editors aren't going to see it that way.' Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
