Welcome!

Hello, Neobenedict, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like BaNnErBoMb, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. A tag has been placed on BaNnErBoMb, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Александр Дмитрий (Alexandr Dmitri) (talk) 20:59, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The confirmation step for purges should only be needed for users who are not logged in. Have you tried to purge after logging in? PrimeHunter (talk) 10:12, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok. I'm just used to other wikis where you have to confirm it. Thanks. Neobenedict (talk) 10:13, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

mw:Manual:Purge says: "This is a precaution to keep web spiders from purging pages accidentally when following links." PrimeHunter (talk) 10:17, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bannerbomb has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable homebrew software.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TNXMan 18:06, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replying to Wikipedia:Help desk#Cite. The largest I recall seeing is 911 at List of Barack Obama presidential campaign endorsements, 2008. I doubt it is a record. PrimeHunter (talk) 11:56, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/jerrre.com

[edit]

I noticed that you nominated Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/jerrre.com for speedy deletion. However, we usually do not use speedy deletion for Articles for creation as we can simply decline them since they have not yet been moved to the main space. The only reason we might CSD one of these articles is if it were an attack page or a negative biography of a living person. Cheers! Topher385 (talk) 15:45, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
