An editor has nominated Piekenhof, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Piekenhof and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Asaph Fipke, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0278606. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 11:23, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Asaph Fipke
[edit]A tag has been placed on Asaph Fipke, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. hbdragon88 03:34, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Since you asked... the article on Asaph Fipke was deleted because (in the opinions of Hbdragon88, who tagged it as such, and Jreferee who agreed with him and deleted it) you hadn't actually explained enough why Asaph Fipke was notable enough for there to be an article about him. The current version does explain who Asaph Fipke is, why he's notable, etc. Okay? DS 13:24, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Please clarify the copyright status of this image and it will be restored in the LHC article. Thank you. --Phenylalanine (talk) 23:00, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of "Pawpet show"
[edit]A page you created, Pawpet show, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
Thank you. Falcon8765 (talk) 21:08, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Pawpet show
[edit]The article Pawpet show has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- One potentially relevant Gnews hit. Brief review of first few pages of the 600+ Ghits does not reveal any third-party, published, reliable sources establishing notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tim Song (talk) 13:47, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
