File permission problem with File:TERI Logo High res.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:TERI Logo High res.png, which you've attributed to http://teriin.org/. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 14:19, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

TERI website - removed the flag for promotional content after making

[edit]

I have made the changes for the article on TERI (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Energy_and_Resources_Institute) keeping in mind NPOV and Wikipedia guidelines. I vouch for the authenticity of the sources and have tried to keep the tone of the article as neutral and non-promotional as possible.

Newgen Software

[edit]

Good morning, Neeshu30. I have left a message for you at the 'request for a decrease in protection' page but I’m repeating it here as requests get archived quite rapidly and you might not see it.

Please create a draft of the article through the articles for creation process and submit it for review when you think it is ready. Be sure to make the appropriate disclosures of a conflict of interest as you are an employee of the company.

Kind regards, --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 11:48, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you @Malcolmxl5 I will start on it right away Neeshu30 (talk) 09:18, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Malcolmxl5 I have created a page in the sandbox for Newgen Software please have a look and approve.

Wrong place! Use WP:YFA to create a draft. Do not submit until all content verified by references. See WP:CORP for guidelines on what makes a business a valid article topic. David notMD (talk) 14:08, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Now at: Draft:Newgen Software Technologies Limited David notMD (talk) 14:31, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I advise against submitting this for review because any reviewer would decline to publish this draft. It does not comply with WP:CORP notability requirements. See Wikipedia:Golden rule for a brief overview of what is expected for a draft to merit publication on Wikipedia. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:24, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:09, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

Your reason here I am not sure why my account has been blocked I have been using Wikipedia since last 5-6 years and have been adding useful content to the website. I would request an unblock so I can contribute to wikipedia.

Decline reason:

This does not even attempt to address WP:UPE, let alone the overlap in editing between this account and Darshak.parmar (primarily around Newgen Software). Yamla (talk) 11:54, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{Hi (talk), How do I declare the WP:UPE please guide}}

Request reason:

Hi I am not sure why my account was blocked and who is editing on my behalf. Can you please check and unblock my 8 year old account. Neeshu30 (talk) 09:03, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

UPE is undisclosed paid editing. You still don't address that(leaving aside the private technical evidence supporting this block). 331dot (talk) 21:09, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
