Welcome
[edit]Hello Neeknitsuj and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've chosen to join us. This is a great project with lots of dedicated people, which might seem intimidating at times, but don't let anything discourage you. Be bold!, explore, and contribute. Try to be civil by following simple guidelines and signing your talk comments with ~~~~ but never forget that one of our central tenets is to ignore all rules.
If you want to learn more, Wikipedia:Tutorial is the place to go, but eventually the following links might also come in handy:

Float around until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. Additionally, the Community Portal offers a more structured way to become acquainted with the many great committees and groups that focus on specific tasks. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English as well as the cleanup, welcoming, and counter-vandalism committees. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy. If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- Draeco 06:23, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Randwick Page
[edit]Is their a particular reason why you took uploaded a photo of Marcellin College and provided a link to that schools page, while neglecting all the other schools, specifically the public schools, in the area? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Neeknitsuj (talk • contribs) 09:56, 30 April 2007 (UTC).
- No particular reason. I'm interested in heritage buildings. I was recently in Randwick and just took some photos of the buildings that appealed to me and then posted them in wikipedia. Marcellin is close to the other builing I photographed but I don't know the area that well, so I don't know where any of the other schools are. J Bar 23:29, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Mike Doyle merger
[edit]Hi. I saw your comment on Mike Doyle's talk page and thought you should know, Wikipedia is not an experiment in democracy. Decisions are made through discussion and consensus, not voting. If you don't back up your wish for him to have his own page with a decent reason, then your comment on the issue is worthless. asyndeton 18:57, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
