Opus Dei

[edit]

As you've probably noticed, I went ahead with the Request for Comment-- a first step before trying Mediation. Thanks for the encouragement to do it-- we might could find consensus without a mediator but, hey, that's what they're there for, and I've never been through mediation, so it'll be an educational experience. When we get there, I'll put you down as the other party (along with anyone else who wants in).

While I'm here-- why revert the reference to Escriva's "Vision of Light?"-- am I misunderstanding it and that somehow doesn't do a good job of the description? or was it just getting unintentionally reverted as part of the ductus divina inspiratione change? --Alecmconroy 00:22, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mediation

[edit]

A request for mediation has been filed with the Mediation Committee that lists you as a party. The Mediation Committee requires that all parties listed in a mediation must be notified of the mediation. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Opus Dei, and indicate whether you agree or refuse to mediate. If you are unfamiliar with mediation, please refer to Wikipedia:Mediation. There are only seven days for everyone to agree, so please check as soon as possible. --Alecmconroy 09:39, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Additions to the Mediation

[edit]

Saw the additions you made to the mediation thing-- they're fine. I get the impression you think I neglected to mention Geo out of a semi-nefarious attempt to cover up the opinion he expressed-- but tis not so. The information submitted in the request only decides whether they take the case or not; once a mediator has been assigned, there will be a whole separate process to present evidence relating to the issues. The Geo experience was so unlike what one would expect from a mediation, I thought it was more confusing than helpful to list it, lest the mediation committee go looking for the evidence of a mediation and not be able to find anything.

In any case, it certainly doesn't hurt to add that info to the request. You also can consider adding to "Additional Issues" if you think there are other issues that need to be discussed or if you disagree with the way I've phrased them. --Alecmconroy 02:43, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mediation

[edit]

Hi, I am willing to be mediate your case, regarding Opus Dei.

The first thing that needs to be decided is what format the mediation should take, and my preference would be to conduct it on Wikipedia (as opposed to e-mail, IRC etc.). If you are planning to take a wiki-break in the near-future or will be unable to partcipate in the mediation could you please let me know. I should point out that I shall be on a wikibreak from the 3rd July until the 7th July. --Wisden17 23:03, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mediation Started

[edit]

"Finanzskandale Juan Villar Reyes / MATESA-SKANDAL [...]

Jose M. Ruiz-Mateos /RUMASA-Skandal [...]

AfD nomination of Supernumerary actor

[edit]

An editor has nominated Supernumerary actor, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Supernumerary actor and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it.
