Hey, really good article. The history of the fungi and the tax box was good. For feedback, maybe expand on the human pathogenicity by explaining whether it is fatal to humans, or whether there are any symptoms of infection (or dormant stages)...at this point maybe you could try moving the human infection aspects from the first paragraph to this section. The ecology and where they are found was really well done. Hope this helps! Tanha Mahmud (talk) 04:06, 2 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

I'd suggest not citing reference 2 in the intro paragraph. You could discuss this article more in-depth further later. (By reference 2, I mean the Garcia et al 2010 paper) Medmyco (talk) 22:21, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Elnaz, I think you are doing great on your article. I think to make it better though, you should include more sections, like treatments or preventions for your fungi, since your's is a pathogenic one, then morphology of your fungi since it is dimorphic, so a lot to explore there. You should also expand on your pathogenicity section, there could be more literature out there on your fungi.I hope this helps :)Ria99 (talk) 00:17, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Good start! I fould the ecology section very interesting but I would have liked to see more about pathogenicity in humans. Were you able to find any case studies about patients who have been infected by this? You mentioned that the fungus typically colonizes the lungs of infected people, does it cause any clinical manifestations (e.g. wheeze, cough, lung lesions, etc.)? More information on the epidemiology as well as treatment would also be good to have if you can find it. From the ecology section, has anyone been successful in culturing samples taken from infected humans? Good luck! Paola0329 (talk) 00:54, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This paragraph could be integrated into the article on paracoccidioidomycosis. Medmyco (talk) 21:54, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
