New Charlotte Roval file?

[edit]

Hello again Nascar9199! I know you are currently busy with college and all, but could you possibly make a new Charlotte Roval file? or if you're up for it, teach me so I can make it as I see numerous track articles claimed under "own work" in nascar summary articles. Hope to hear from you soon! 45BearsFan (talk) 01:05, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@45BearsFan: Hey! I'd love to help, but I'm afraid that's not my thing. I just work on expanding articles. I'd ask the people who created the file for the track layouts for assistance. Cheers! Nascar9919 (he/him • tc) 07:45, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Europapa

[edit]

On 7 October 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Europapa, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that "Europapa" was the first song in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest to be disqualified after the start of the contest? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Europapa. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Europapa), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

programs

[edit]

Hello! I see you have uploaded some old programs (especially those in 2022), I plan on uploading them on some 2024 race articles, could you possibly tell me how to upload them so I can do the move? 45BearsFan (talk) 23:20, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

mb i meant like so i can upload them, as Pit shop official gear has some programs used from the track and i was wondering if you could tell me how to upload them so i can add them to some articles :) 45BearsFan (talk) 15:33, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@45BearsFan: Hey there! I'm very sorry that I didn't see this earlier. I just got out of a melanoma doctor's checkup.
You download the file, upload it as a non-free image, and do all the following it says for you to do. Say that it's a cover of a magazine/other print related article, what page you plan to upload it for, and how it the file will be limited. Feel free to see some of my other uploads for an example of what to do. Let me know if you need any further clarification :) Cheers! Nascar9919 (he/him • tc) 17:11, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Nascar9919 I did everything you said, I just noticed mine says "non-free posters" while your uploads say "motorsports posters". How do I change it to motorsports posters? 45BearsFan (talk) 15:18, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dover Motor Speedway

[edit]

Hello, I am wondering if the Dover Motor Speedway edits are okay? I am trying to cut down on some of the fluff (so it can still be understandable and readable) while trying to retain the GA overhaul you did (and keeping the sources) and wondering if that is okay or should I do it a different way? MysticCipher87(alt-account) (talk) 18:59, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@MysticCipher87(alt-account): Honestly? Aside from a few tweaks (mainly with grammar), it was completely justified. I've got to give you my props; I may have disagreed with you more times than not, but I have got to say that you know how to write a good lead! I will say to you that as long as you can fine-tune the grammar, you're on the right track. Your grammar in my opinion does need some work; but content-wise, I do believe you're definitely on the right track. Keep progressing! :) Cheers! Nascar9919 (he/him • tc) 19:03, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually: let me check the history and let me get back to you. Cheers! Nascar9919 (he/him • tc) 19:06, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MysticCipher87(alt-account): OK, made some tweaks. I do like how summarized it is! You've done a good job at that. Again, grammar needs a bit of work in my opinion. Also, there isn't a need to separate events into numerous, small separate paragraphs. But overall; you've made some great progress! Keep it up. Cheers!
