Glider Tugs - Stop and Explain
[edit]Any particular reason why you are removing the glider tug category from loads of aircraft article, it may be best if you stop and explain what you trying to do, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 23:18, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
I really appreciate your concern, but aircrafts that have been manufactured in small numbers (under 50) or individual prototypes are not really noteworthy, as they do not account for 1 percent of the fleet of aircraft. Then there are bombers or fighter planes that have been used for non-sailing military gliders (not for gaining height in thermal lifting) and are therefore out of the group in question because they have nothing to do with sailplanes. Here, however, are also the airplanes, which were historically produced in large numbers and were used in the past as working horses of aeroclubs. Then there is a group of aircraft with low engine power (below 150 HP) and which are intended only for towing special aircraft (oldtimers) or banners. Today's towing aircrafts should be capable of towing Duo Discus or DG-1000 (MTOW 750 kg / 1650lbs +). There are a lot of prototypes and conceptual designs, which were intended, among other things, to tow sailplanes, but their importance today is zero. Putting all the prototypes into the group brings only confusion and moves away from the real sailplane towing aircrafts. We want wikipedia to be a credible source of data and therefore it makes sense for those who actually fly to select grass from weeds. Nareto 13:31, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation, I can understand your idea but also perhaps others have taken a wider view that glider tugs also pull things other than modern sailplanes for example military gliders during war. It may be better to comment at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aircraft and get a wider view of those involved in aircraft articles. MilborneOne (talk) 16:30, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- I have reverted your removal of these categories, all of them are glider tugs and many were purpose-designed as glider tugs. - Ahunt (talk) 19:30, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for July 27
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Maribor Edvard Rusjan Airport, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Split (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

EASA CS-LSA moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, EASA CS-LSA, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Adding unreferenced changes
[edit]Hello, I'm Canterbury Tail. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. [edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Airbus A320 family, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Aero Club Milano moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Aero Club Milano, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

[edit]Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. BilletsMauves€500 13:21, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
The article EASA CS-23 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Lacks WP:N, WP:BEFORE search only gives primary sources and passing mentions.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. BilletsMauves€500 13:40, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
