Hello, NARCOMS, and welcome to Wikipedia. Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/NARCOMS (North American Research Committee on Multiple Sclerosis), and I noticed that your username, "NARCOMS", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Trammel Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", and "WidgetFan87". Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a username change that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Drm310 (talk) 19:44, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Good afternoon,

My name is Christina Crowe and I am attempting to create this page at the request of the North American Research Committee on Multiple Sclerosis, or NARCOMS, at our Executive Committee's request. How do I manage to get this through on behalf of the organization? Thank you. narcomsnow@narcoms.org or crowecm@uab.edu

I commend the reading of the message (above) to you in detail, especially the username policy and the message about promotion. I predict that this username as it stands will be blocked and a change of username 'suggested'. Fiddle Faddle 23:08, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. Hello NARCOMS. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "NARCOMS (North American Research Committee on Multiple Sclerosis)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/NARCOMS (North American Research Committee on Multiple Sclerosis)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 22:27, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
