Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Msaantley, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Marcia Reed, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! reddogsix (talk) 02:44, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Marcia Reed has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable individual lacking non-trivial, in-depth, independent sourcing

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. reddogsix (talk) 02:44, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Marcia Reed

[edit]

Hi, I'm Babymissfortune. Msaantley, thanks for creating Marcia Reed!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please improve this page. Thanks.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Help me! Hi, I used to be able to volunteer on the CITATIONS NEEDED portion, is that still available?

[edit]

Please help me with...

Msaantley (talk) 06:14, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You could start here: Category:Wikipedia articles needing factual verification. This may not be exactly the same place you used to participate, but the general spirit is the same. Use your research skills to fill in missing references - or decide if the statement can't be supported and perhaps needs to be removed. There's certainly plenty of these to work on and it's no shame to work on the easiest ones first! — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 09:24, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Teahouse talkback: you've got messages!

[edit]
Hello, Msaantley. Your question has been answered at the Teahouse Q&A board. Feel free to reply there!
Please note that all old questions are archived after 2-3 days of inactivity. Message added by Nick Moyes (talk) 10:19, 11 August 2019 (UTC). (You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{teahouse talkback}} template).[reply]

Please be considerate of volunteer's time.

[edit]

Hello. I popped over to your talk page to tell you that I had answered your question at the Teahouse, only to discover you'd asked exactly the same question at exactly the same time with a Help Request here too. In future, please don't waste volunteers' time by asking the same question in two places at once. It means two people had to spend their time replying to you, and that the second reply from jmcgnh was not actually needed. Choose one, then wait 24hrs before seeking help elsewhere, please. (Sorry this sounds terser than I wanted it to) Many thanks Nick Moyes (talk) 10:23, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Msaantley! You created a thread called How do I get to help with "Citations Needed" - at Wikipedia:Teahouse, but it has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days. You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please create a new thread.
