[edit]Hi, I'm just learning how to work on Wiki...I intend to properly populate Marcia Reed. I am writing about her because in the history of cinematic photography she was the FIRST woman to make it into the union...this took battles with the union and the threat of lawsuits...and I intend to put all the proper documents. In the 1970's as the first woman to work on a film crew, she received death threats "for taking food off the tables of men" ..originally I was just going to make a stub and take it from there, then I got a little ambitious and put in her movies. She is also the first openly gay photographer in the famous Dirty Harry "Make My Day" shot ....which I promise to put up. She's also the first person to use a digital camera on a movie set (BoJangles)for Kodak in Canada, she invented the Movie Media Kit (which is a cd press kit for movies (the internet wasn't much in use when she started in 2003 she did over 200 films including Saving Private Ryan, Jumanji, GI Jane, ConAir, Flubber, 101 Dalmations, Aladdin, etc) one year BEFORE the invention EPK which you have a whole page up on in Wiki.
She is a pioneer in many ways and I would like her to be properly known. IF you'd like me to go back to a stub for now...like a few other women on the American women in photo page...I'll be happy to leave it at that and practice how to make the movie titles and what I have to write more encyclopedic.
Please do not delete. She is most worthy and I promise to do more reading on how to do pages. So far I've spent a couple of hours studying your tutorials.

p.s. please write back with advice and I'll follow it.
- @Msaantley - How about moving it to Draft status? Draft status will give you plenty of time to work on it. reddogsix (talk) 03:05, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
