- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Request reason:
I was banned after I was accused of being a sockpuppet. However, I can prove without a doubt that this account is a unique account and I am not a sockpuppet. I made this reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/Sikh/comments/4cccw8/the_wikipedia_page_on_sikhism_is_poorly_written/) talking about the page I wanted to edit, and the talk page in question is what led to my ban after I was accused of being a sockpuppet. My twitter account (https://twitter.com/Mr_Sangh) uses the same name as this Wikipedia account. There is no evidence on the hand of the people who banned me that I am truly a sockpuppet because I literally have not done anything. I didn't even edit the Sikhism page because I wanted to have input from people who led it. I even made a talk page before editing anything on Sikhism. I also made that reddit thread linked above because I wanted other people's inputs on the matter before I did anything that might be incorrect. You can go to my reddit account. I've been a user for over 5 years in many respected communities, and I moderate the Berkeley subreddit on my own as well. If I can moderate a community of over 10k by myself and make it successful, I'm probably not a toxic sockpuppet looking to push an agenda on a religious Wikipedia page. If you want my LinkedIn page, it has the same URL ending as my Wikipedia name here. I have endless proof that this account is unique to me alone. If you want I can even upload a picture of myself. Just so we're clear, I will not be editing the Sikhism page, or anything related to it, ever again. I want to edit some pages on pharmaceutical drugs and gene expression as I am currently researching topics related to those fields. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Are you in any way connected to Js82. Do you know that person? Vanjagenije (talk) 21:47, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
I had never heard of that person before I was accused of being a sockpuppet of his/her. I wish I was even asked what I was being accused of before the moderator in that Talk Page filed a complaint against me. That being said, if you need more proof of what I do, here is a thread on reddit about some of the Pharmaceutical investing I do. https://www.reddit.com/r/lulzFunds/comments/4votsd/ionis_pharmaceuticals_xenon_pharmaceuticals/ MrSangh (talk) 15:03, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- @RegentsPark: Can you take a look here? Are you still sure this account is a sockpuppet? Vanjagenije (talk) 15:44, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Ms Sarah Welch: Could you please comment? --regentspark (comment) 15:55, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- @RegentsPark: This post in response to @Kautilya3, by @MrSangh, a day after creating the account, claimed, "Why would I not know what Wikipedia's posting guidelines are?" Yet, @MrSangh edit within a day of that claim, to the Kaam article, disregarded the wikipedia guidelines on verifiability, leave aside one on reliable sources. Other battleground style forum-y posts by @MrSangh, add to the evidence that there was strong behavioral evidence of WP:NOTHERE and possible previous account by @MrSangh. The Sikhism-related articles have been affected by @Js82 socks that were very disruptive and a huge drain of productive time of wiki editors, admins, and community patience. In good faith, I suggest the reviewing admin consider giving MrSangh a chance, if: [1] @MrSangh explains or admits errors in the Kaam article, agree to respect the claimed knowledge of "wikipedia guidelines"; [2] agrees to respect WP:TPNO guidelines on article talk pages; [3] agrees to a maximum of one revert in 24 hours (1RR) in Indian religions-related article space. I would not mind, if you or the admin demands a less or more lenient condition(s) to unblock, or keeps the block per the SPI findings. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 17:03, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Ms Sarah Welch: Could you please comment? --regentspark (comment) 15:55, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- After reviewing Ms Sarah Welch's comments, the fact that CU tagged this account as a 'possible' with Js82, and some of the similarities between Js82 and this account (the 'God' concept), I still think it highly likely that the two accounts are the same and am unwilling to unblock. However, highly likely is not the same as certain so I'm ok with someone else unblocking MrSangh, preferably with the conditions set by Ms Sarah Welch in place. --regentspark (comment) 23:17, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- @MrSangh: Please, respond to Ms Sarah Welch's proposal. Vanjagenije (talk) 08:33, 10 August 2016 (UTC)

Hello and apologies
[edit]Hello MrSangh, this is Js82. You were blocked citing to be my sockpuppet. I just wanted to share my apologies for you having to go through this for no fault of yours. Looking at your case, I actually decided to come back to WP and made a request to be unblocked so that you and any other future editors may not be blocked invoking "sock of Js82".
I am not sure if you still intend to come and contribute here, but I believe your block would likely be revoked now if you wanted, since even I am back and have an account in good standing.
best wishes to you, and sorry again. Js82 (talk) 04:55, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
