On the Subject of MHS

Since I can't find anything that sets these other schools apart beside the "(MHS)" beside their name I propose that we make a seperate disabig page titled "High Schools that may be reffered to as MHS" or something similar and add that — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hydra24538 (talkcontribs) 17:47, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

MHS

The MHS page is just a disambigation page that lists things that are referred to as MHS. Moscow High School is referred to as MHS so please stop reverting my changes for no reason.Hydra24538 (talk) 04:32, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

  • there have been many discussions on this page before. This page grew absurd as every single High School with a name beginning with M was listed, along with others such as Mill Hill School The consensus was that unless there was a verified and reputable 3rd party reference to the school being referred to as MHS, it wouldn't make this list. Perhaps you could provide links to these sources. Hail Hydra MrMarmite (talk) 10:35, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Here are some links that show this school being referred to as MHS: http://moscowsdhs.ss18.sharpschool.com/cms/one.aspx?pageId=3007286 http://moscowsdhs.ss18.sharpschool.com/parent__student_resources/staff_directory https://www.msd281.org/cms/One.aspx?portalId=200121&pageId=405040 (bottom of site)Hydra24538 (talk) 16:35, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

    • a) those links are not working. I assume you need to be on the site's VPN or something like that
    • b) Even of those links worked, they do not fall under the category of "reputable 3rd party reference". MrMarmite (talk) 16:49, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

They may not be working because you seem to be in the UK. This link should hopefully work: msd281.org Also this is a reputable source as it is literally the school's website. I don't understand why you are so against adding Moscow High school to the list especially since it is just a disambiguation pageHydra24538 (talk) 17:26, 14 December 2020 (UTC) Moscow High school is also referred to MHS on its wikipedia page which also proves that it should be there as it could potentially be what people are referring to when they search mhs which is the point of a disambiguation pageHydra24538 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 17:29, 14 December 2020 (UTC) also here are some more links that refer to moscow high school as MHS https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=OJQrAAAAIBAJ&sjid=vNAFAAAAIBAJ&pg=6085%2C2032100 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hydra24538 (talkcontribs) 17:33, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Finally here is another link altough this one may not be as good https://www.mhs1964.com/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hydra24538 (talkcontribs) 17:41, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello. Please, can you answer a couple of questions considering this reversion? Which of Milford High School do you deem unrelated to MHS? Do you deem that each school, already specified in MHS page, is publicly and demonstrably referred as MHS? What, for example, should be the minimal publicity and demonstrability for the school to be able to have a link in MHS page? IMDJack (talk) 17:35, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

I see and I understand where you're coming from when saying "hardly worth", but I see double standards when President Biden's jab has his entry. Double standards as usual on Wiki. Anyway, I won't object your revert. Have a good weekend. Cheers. CoryGlee (talk) 15:09, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
