DYK for Herbert E. Grier
[edit]On 7 January 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Herbert E. Grier, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that National Medal of Science recipient Herbert E. Grier built the firing mechanism used in the Fat Man bomb? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Herbert E. Grier. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Herbert E. Grier), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Women In Red article
[edit]I wasn't sure who to inform about this, but you seem to be active on that page, and this link to the WIR articles needed has a woman named Kristen Dwyer on it, and I believe they meant to refer to [Dwyer], who already has an article. Lcodyh803 (talk) 03:10, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Lcodyh803: Hello! It's possible that the previous article Kristin Dwyer was a misspelling of her name. It seems that the current article Kirstin Dwyer has the right spelling. In that case, feel free to remove that redlink from the list! :) You can explain in your edit summary that she already has an article under Kirstin Dwyer if you wish. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 03:23, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

- @Dr. Blofeld: Hello there. I'm not sure how much I will participate in comparison to previous destubathons, but I'm definetly interested as this is up my alley. Thanks for the heads up! --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 17:30, 2 February 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for your edits to CCI
[edit]Thanks for your edits in the area. It's definitely one of the messiest areas on wikipedia; the Cacrats CCI is a good starter one (ignoring the size, of course). If you have any questions or want some help, please ask me, I'll happily oblige. I recommend reading/skimming through User:Money emoji/CCI Sort and User:Money emoji/Money's guide to CCI to get a grasp of the backlog and what to do if you're interested in continuing in the area. Good luck. Money emoji💵Talk💸Help out at CCI! 22:33, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Money emoji: Hello! I have been keeping an eye on both of your userspace articles while working through that CCI. ;) Speaking of questions, I did have a few that were on my mind: 1) Do i need to put CClean on the talk pages where there has been Copyvios? 2) Is there a specific amount of text that needs to be copyvio in order to request a RD1? I have been requesting if the prose is 500+ and skipping if it's below 500. Thanks! --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 22:39, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- 1. Not if you don't want to; I used to do that early on but found that just dropping a note on the talk page by checking the box on the cv revdel interface did the job faster.
- 2. Not officially, but I also tend to only revdel when 500+ of the prose is removed, as I feel it's excessive if large amounts of the history are hidden when it's less than that. How much is needed for a revdel tends to be a pretty "Your mileage may vary" topic, even among admins experienced in the field. My advice is to go with your gut and think about the colateral.
- Hope you find these helpful, Money emoji💵Talk💸Help out at CCI! 22:55, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Money emoji: Okay. Thanks for the pointers :) (To be fair, #2 was based on your CCI guide LOL!) --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 23:02, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

I noticed you removed the refs but the template is used in dozens of articles. -- GreenC 01:29, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
- It still might be a good idea to remove the refs because it's a nav box below the page's
{{reflist}}
. It might make sense to include refs on the talk page, doc page or noinclude section, for verification. -- GreenC 01:44, 17 June 2020 (UTC)- @GreenC: The references that were there were already included at the main page at List of Billboard Year-End number-one singles and albums. I asked on Discord about it cause it was the first time I've ever seen refs in a template before. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 01:58, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Can you explain why Category:Clean-up categories from 2004 needs to be speedy deleted? Thank you, -- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:09, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Ponyo: Per G6 it's a "empty dated maintenance categories for dates in the past" --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 22:24, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- Another admin added the "Administrators: Please do not delete this category even if it is empty!" template, so it's not eligible.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:30, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Ponyo: At Category:Clean-up categories, there are no monthly categories for 2002 or 2004. Also, Category:Clean-up categories from 2003 doesn't exist as there are no monthly categories for 2003. It was deleted as G6 --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 22:34, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- Then I would check with Liz, the admin who added the template.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:35, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Ponyo: Eh it's not a big deal for me. I'll leave them be then. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 22:36, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
