Regarding rationalism
[edit]I honestly don't know enough about this sort of thing to tell you why rationalism isn't a proper noun, but neither Miriam-Webster [1] or Oxford [2] treat it as a proper noun, so I can only assume it's safe to say it isn't one. miranda :3 03:26, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
- I just found the Wikipedia style guide and apparently "Philosophies, theories, movements, and doctrines use lower case unless the name derives from a proper name (capitalism versus Marxism) or has become a proper name (republican, a system of political thought; Republican, a political party)". So I guess the pages for Romanticism and Stoicism were just bad examples I was following. Apologies. Mr. UnderhiIl (talk) 04:07, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
- No worries, it happens! miranda :3 04:10, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
Modernism
[edit]In response to https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Modernism&curid=19547&diff=1225193035&oldid=1225192247 it seems that you have created a WP:SEAOFBLUE. Warren L.T. Peace (talk) 22:50, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- That's not what WP:SEAOFBLUE is. "When possible, do not place links next to each other, to avoid appearing like a single link, as in chess tournament (chess tournament)." What exactly is your objection, here? All the links are separated by spaces and/or commas. Mr. UnderhiIl (talk) 23:22, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
Modernism
[edit]In response to my changes in the article "Modernism". I was trying to prevent a WP:SEAOFBLUE as recommended in the style guide. I apologize for my edit however I do think some of the links are excessive, but that is my opinion. However going on my talk page and calling my edits "Disruptive" is a vast overstatement. After all I thought "This Wiki user assumes good intentions" as stated on your page. Once again my apologies, I hope you understand where I am coming from. R2214 (talk) 04:19, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
