Ways to improve Union Pacific 4006

[edit]

Hi, I'm Macbookair3140. Mr. Railroader, thanks for creating Union Pacific 4006!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. You could use a book as a citation. I couldn't find a website to use as a citation.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Macbookair3140 00:22, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! I fugured UP 4006 is significant enough to has it's own article, the milage for one, and ok. Mr. Railroader (talk) 05:02, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Rock Island 886

[edit]

The article Rock Island 886 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable locomotive. No evidence of awards, charting or in depth coverage in independent reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:28, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok then. Mr. Railroader (talk) 02:23, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Milwaukee Road class S2 moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Milwaukee Road class S2, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. That is correct. A search for references to this locomotive in reliable sources came up empty handed. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 03:14, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

NYC L3a and L3b Mohawks

[edit]

Please correct para. with totals for both subclasses:

L3a’s = 35, not 30 L3b’s= 30, not 35

I would like to know you and befriend you

[edit]

Hello. I have been wondering if you and I could get to know each other and become friends. May I ask if you use Discord, or what your Steam name is? This is so we can contact each other more privately. I know this may seem like so much to ask, but I just want to get to personally know at least one other person on Wikipedia.

I will delete this talk page within 24 hours from now, unless you get a chance to see this, and in that case, you can delete it yourself. I would highly appreciate it if you would reply to this in any way.

Three Canadian Pacific drafts that need taken care of

[edit]

Hi. There are drafts for three CP locomotives: 1201, 2839, and 2860, and they all need to be taken care of. Draft:Canadian Pacific 1201 Draft:Canadian Pacific 2839 Draft:Canadian Pacific 2860 I'm relatively new to editing Wikipedia pages, but I do know that a page for 1201 deserves to be made. I have added stuff to it, but I don't know the locomotive that well, which is why I was wondering if experts like you could finish it off. I also don't think the pages for 2839 and 2860 aren't necessary, since a page for the Royal Hudsons already exists. Could you please do something about these? If you would, thank you, but if you won't, it's fine, I'll ask someone else. 23.169.64.51 (talk) 19:34, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
