Career achievement page for Nathan Chen
[edit]Hi! I write you here because I don't want to blow up the FS talk page. I think, it might make sense to create a sub-article for Chen's career achievements like we did for Hanyu (see: List of career achievements by Yuzuru Hanyu). Chen has won many titles, achieved multiple records and firsts, and was bestowed with many awards, so the page would definitely satisfy Wiki's notability criteria. And the sub-page would unburden his main biography in size as well.
I am busy with other projects at the moment, but if you need help with the page creation or other stuff, please feel free to ping me. Best wishes :) Henni147 (talk) 16:27, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
- That's a good idea. I hadn't even thought about that. But I'll gladly try to create one to unburden size. It makes a lot of sense. :) Thanks again for all your help. :) MovieTalk101178 (talk) 18:31, 16 March 2023 (UTC)

Nathan Chen’s degree
[edit]Hi MovieTalk, Just a heads up: I removed your note indicating Nathan Chen earned a BA. His major offers both a BA and a BS option and, given his career goals, he very likely earned the BS. Regardless, we need a source indicating which degree he earned, which may turn up in time. Drmargi (talk) 12:12, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Good point! Thank you!!! :) I think Yale might create a Yale 2024 page later this week closer to graduation where we should be able to see it. MovieTalk101178 (talk) 13:03, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Good thought. They often make graduation programs available in .pdf format, and that should say. It would be fun to dig up a picture of him in his cap-and-gown if he went to commencement. And you’re very welcome! --Drmargi (talk) 09:07, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yale released a source today. :) https://yale2024.yale.edu/candidates-degrees/yale-college MovieTalk101178 (talk) 12:23, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
- I see that! I was looking at videos and the commencement site last night trying to find the program, but didn't have any luck. That must have been posted after I logged off. I'm surprised his degree is the BA, but after reading the article in the Yale paper last week, it sounds like he made a career shift after the Olympics when he started his research. Did you see the picture of him with a couple friends at Class Day? Pretty funny. --Drmargi (talk) 21:38, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, that was a giant whale! :) MovieTalk101178 (talk) 15:14, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi there, I divided the bibliography into some different sub headings as it was getting a bit long. Please take a look and revise as you see fit. I basically divided into Books and compilations (could be Books and Book Chapters instead), Audio, Abstracts and conferences (allowed me to move the Connecticut symposiums up) and Publications (with the articles, maybe it shouldn't be called Publications but Articles, not sure).
