Pinot noir

[edit]

I undid the deletion to this article because this https://www.skurnik.com/sku/pinot-noir-bests-great-western-2-2-2-2/ seems to support the statement. I would prefer something a little more definite which is why I added a citation needed tag instead of just adding the reference. Your revert for lack of a citation was not necessarily wrong; I just thought I would quickly look into a little deeper. I think that the tag is more appropriate under the circumstances. Happy editing. Donner60 (talk) 05:38, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! You are absolutely correct, I had simply suspected due to the wording it was generic vandalism. Thank you for looking deeper into it, and I will make sure to do that in the future. Mooshua1857 (talk) 05:40, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Lock Upp Show

[edit]

You foreigner don't know anything about Indian shows. There is already a separate page for season 1 of lock upp. All the content i am removing is already present in that page as this content is of season 1 which i created today (check my editing history) Make sure you do good research. That page is for lock upp show and not for content of season 1 of lock upp show. I don't know how to talk so doing these. 27.56.202.48 (talk) 19:34, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For future reference, yes, talk pages are absolutely the best way to do this and you've done everything right when sending this message. Welcome to Wikipedia!
I've looked further and you are right, the content is a duplicate of the season 1 page. Sorry, I've undone my edit and removed my warning. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Sorry for the rough patch! Wishing you the best on Wikipedia :^) Mooshua1857 (talk) 19:43, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Arceus to Arkoos

[edit]

Hey! Just so you know, this is all caused by a Youtuber known as M&JTV who has a running joke that no one knows how to pronounce "Arceus" so he pronounces it as "Arkoos". It came from one of his videos. I myself am a fan of him, however I know that pronunciation is merely a joke. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 02:42, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, thanks for letting me know :^) Mooshua1857 (talk) 02:44, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I'm fairly sure he's told his fans not to edit Wikipedia to change it to that (I can't remember if he actually has), however they are clearly ignoring him. If IPs continue changing it just request the page be protected at WP:RFPPBlaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 02:45, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nancy Cartwright edit

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from Wikipedia. We appreciate this, but unfortunately your edit was not successful in restoring the article to its pre-vandalised state. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. If you simply delete the visible vandalism then any content removed or overwritten by the vandal is lost. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. –Skywatcher68 (talk) 16:59, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning 79.76.105.165

[edit]

You issued a level-2 warning without a level-1 warning being given. Could you change the warning to Uw-vandalism1? Faster than Thunder (talk | contributions) 23:05, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page watcher) @Faster than Thunder: For what its worth, you don't need to use multi-level warnings in order—in fact, some edits are so obviously bad faith it doesn't make sense to use a level 1 ~TNT (talk • she/her) 23:10, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pachygyria

[edit]
In the future, when you see somebody's edit with an edit summary that says "See Talk Page" (as I wrote) try actually looking at the talk page and waiting a couple minutes for the promised discussion to be posted. Or just take the effort to look at the History to see what was edited, instead of up making wild paranoid assumptions. You reverted my edit only a few seconds after I made it. I went immediately to the Talk page to start the discussion, and when I returned to the main page you had already reverted it. Your irrational impatience and careless editing is your problem, not the fault of honest, careful editors like me. Wikipedia will not explode and cease to exist if you wait five minutes and take the time to think about your edits instead of acting on random knee-jerk reactions. Being careful and courtious won't kill you. Every single time I have been reverted, it was by someone too impatient and/or careless to read the Talk page, who as a result didn't know what they were doing. Careless editing and random unjustified reverts just makes more messes for editors like me to clean up.
