[edit]You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because this account has been used only for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia's content policy. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is against Wikipedia's policy: an account is for an individual, not a group. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a free advertising service.
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of this page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Drmies (talk) 18:00, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Moment Film (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Thank you for the notice on the block and we apologise for the violation. In further reading of other film pages on Wikipedia we see how they should be written impartially and did not intend originally for the page we were editing to be an advertisement for our film. We'd like to understand what the next steps are -- on further reading about blocks and unblocks we understand there to be further discussions among admins to decide where to unblock an account. Seeing as how the Wikipedia page we violated the terms with is now unusuable per your guidelines is it possible to delete everything we put in and have one of our individual members who has a Wikipedia account to add new text that follows the guidelines? Or, is it possible to send the information we'd like to have on the Wikipedia page to an admin who can pre-evaluate it before we spend any further time on rebuilding the Wikipedia page so we don't risk running into this situation again? Thank youMoment Film (talk) 2:16 pm, Yesterday (UTC+1)
Decline reason:
The only way for this account to be unblocked is by requesting unblock and new user name (as described above). But, you should also know that Wikipedia does not allow shared accounts. An account may only be operated by a single person and may represent only that single person. You keep saying "we", which suggests that you want this account to be used by several persons, and that is not allowed. Vanjagenije (talk) 19:03, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Who are "we"? Max Semenik (talk) 00:05, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- There is the Draft: namespace and WP:Articles for creation which puts drafts in said namespace - but as MaxSem notes above, we do not allow role accounts. Every individual must use their own account if they wish to edit. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 10:53, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
