Leela Bratee (talk) 08:43, 14 August 2013 (UTC)Speedy deletion nomination of Tilottama (disambiguation)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Tilottama (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
- disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user page may not be appropriate to be indexed by external search engines as presently written. Typically, this could be because it appears promotional, or contains material in development or archived that doesn't yet meet policies and guidelines. I have tagged this page as __NOINDEX__
, which allows editing but minimizes the page's inclusion in search engine results.
If you believe that your userpage does not violate our guidelines, please leave a note here and we can discuss it. As an alternative, you may add {{db-userreq}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, you can change the page so that it more clearly meets Wikipedia guidelines, or you can edit it as normal and ignore the tag completely (it will not affect editing).
However, please do not remove the tag without discussion. Thank you. Jackmcbarn (talk) 14:23, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Tilottama (disambiguation). If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Jackmcbarn (talk) 14:47, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts
[edit]Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Moheen Reeyad, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Request reason:
I have noticed that my account has been blocked for the reason to using multiple accounts which is conflict with other user Leela Bratee. This is a wrong blame upon me. I have no fixed IP address. My pages was accepted by her (Leela Bratee) but I thought that was a group work. I don't know about this kinds of limitations. Many article which is created by me those has been nominated for deletion! But those pages was created about notable person and topic. I do not understand, what is the problem when my user page is looks like a article? But no one inform me about that and when I know that I edited my user page. I am so upset, now I realized my mistake. Please accept my apologies. I hope my account will be reopened soon.

Comment from blocking admin
[edit]The editing from the three accounts appears as deceitful, regardless of whether there are one, two or three individuals involved. Advice
[edit]The principal reason why I believe you are blocked is that you abused the Articles for creation process, by approving your friends' submissions frivolously. Just claiming notability is not enough – you need all three of notable, verifiable and suitable to pass. I sent one of your submissions to AfD because even though it was a list of works by a notable author, it was largely unverifiable and (in my view) an unnecessary content fork. Most of your submissions should have been declined at AfC on verifiability grounds.
If you want to be unblocked, my advice is as follows:
- Accept you abused the AfC process and promise you will not review submissions, at least for the short term.
- Explain you understand that you cannot add unverifiable content to Wikipedia, and what a typical reliable source is.
- Find yourself a mentorship program and state the name of your mentor here. Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area explains where you can find an adopter. Since you are blocked, you will need to email them using the "E-mail this user" link on the left hand menu.
- Mark clearly which other accounts share your IP network (I think there's a template for this – somebody else will be able to advise)
Once you've done this, send another unblock request.
Admins – I believe the root of this problem is due to inexperience, not malice, so I think they should be given a chance and mentored. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 07:23, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, Ritchie, thanks for weighing in. The abuse of AfC was only part of the reason I blocked, though certainly that's the part that harmed Wikipedia the most. There was also Ponyo's CheckUser report and the userpage business. Can you suggest some innocent explanation (inexperience?) for the combination of a) userpages that look like articles, b) links to these userpages in mainspace, piped to make them look like article links, and c) removal of Jackmcbarn's userpage tags? Or can you, Moheen? Because I'm afraid that three-step procedure is too much for my good faith. Diffs to the tag removals no longer work, but my original comment on them can be seen here. P.S. But I won't stand in the way of an unblock if Moheen succeeds in convincing a reviewing admin. Bishonen | talk 09:50, 18 August 2013 (UTC).
- Hmmm. I believe two of the accounts declared they were dating, and I can easily picture the pair of them editing on laptops sat next to each other and communicating verbally. User pages looking like articles – well, my own user page abuses {{infobox person}} though it's an obvious parody in my case. The main space link was March 26, presumably one of the editors' birthday. I think it all boils down to a lack of understanding that Wikipedians are generally not notable. But didn't Moheen assert that he understood WP:N? Hmmm. Still, he won't be able to pull the wool over a mentor's eyes, and general consensus is that if you fail or give up adoption courses then you get reboocked so it's not the end of the world. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:42, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
- The mainspace link? I'm not going back and counting them, but there were a number of mainspace links. And the userpage tag removals points straight at the article-like userpages + the mainspace linking being systematic deception. You don't seem to be taking my point, but I don't know how else to put it: the trouble to my mind is a, b and c taken together. Bishonen | talk 16:37, 18 August 2013 (UTC).
