Simon Langton Grammar School
[edit]The reference for Ross Clark was there and the link works (I just tried it). Kindly reinstate what you have wrongly removed. And besides, why remove one of the few persons that actually had a reference and leave others that do not. Your edits are highly contentious and you may find that this works against any future edits you make. Bhtpbank (talk) 09:21, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
This is the link to Ross Clark [1]. He attended the school at the same time that I did. You can also find him under Friends Reunited, but that probably doesn't apply to you as appear to be someone that doesn't have any social skills. Bhtpbank (talk) 09:24, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
- I'm very sorry if I've offended you, but could you show me a place in the reference where Simon Langton is even mentioned? I decided to research further on the internet, as it appeared not to be. If you search into Google "ross clark" + "simon langton" there are only three results, one about someone from the Harvey Grammar school, and two others that are completely irrelevant. There seemed to be no available evidence to show that he did attend the school.
If you knew him from school, then why not put him up with an "original research" reference, or just no internet reference at all? I'm perfectly able to accept that, and I will shortly reinstate him in the Alumni section.Wikipedia is not the place to publish original research, so I'm afraid "I knew him from school" isn't good enough. However I will shortly reinstate him in the Alumni section so that you may properly reference him (if at all possible). ModWilson (talk) 09:17, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:GHNelson.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:GHNelson.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. Reverting MOS corrections without explanation
[edit]If you are going to revert any edits which contain corrections based on the Manual of Style (MOS), which you did at Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys, then you need to have very good reasons, also based on the MOS, and clearly state what they are. Just reverting another editor's MOS editing without any explanation is not acceptable and smacks of OWN which is also not acceptable. Quizical (talk) 04:43, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
