Biographies of living persons
[edit]Please read the important policy WP:Biographies of living persons. You should read the whole of it, but note in particular that it includes:
"Contentious material about living persons... that is unsourced or poorly sourced – whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable – should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion."
Note that "source" means a reliable, published source, not personal knowledge or gossip.
That policy applies to article talk pages, which are publicly viewable, as well as to articles. I have this afternoon removed from Talk:Bob Cooke (DJ), and revision-deleted so as to hide it in the history, a large amount of unsourced scandal-mongering and speculation about a number of named people. That is not what an encyclopedia is for. Any repetition will result in your account being blocked. JohnCD (talk) 20:56, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
