As Tom Morris responded to my feedback: "There's lots of things that are happening to improve Wikipedia. There are a whole string of "micro design improvements" that'll make things slightly more pleasant to look at. The big thing is the roll out of the visual editor sometime in the next year. There's a lot more coming out soon. But in spite of this, I hope you hang around: the interface be a bit old aging, but it's still lots of fun to write Wikipedia."
