Myanmar Air Force
[edit]Please don’t add or change content without verifying it by citing a reliable source, as you have done on the Myanmar Air Force article. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources –Thank you FOX 52 (talk) 16:53, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
- thank you for telling me. As I am new to this I do not know how to put a scours to my edit. I do have a reliable source of what I edited. If possible could you review it?
Two MI-35 were commissioned on 15 December 2019 and there are photos of it online along with several news articles. As for the K-8, there are photos of it being assembled in Myanmar with up to 30 being completed as of 2017-2018 http://errymath.blogspot.com/2015/03/k-8-trainer-aircraft-in-myanmar-air.html#.Xic79iM0mUk
- You will need to use reliable source(s) - unfortunately "blogs" like the one you have shown here are not legitimate. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for help with proper source(s) FOX 52 (talk) 00:40, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
Sorry about that I was referencing the photo of the K 8 which has a serial number up to 23 and another one after the 23 so up to 24 is 100% confirmed. As for the Mi 35, I belive this is a reliable source https://www.janes.com/article/93235/myanmar-air-force-commissions-10-new-aircraft-to-boost-counter-insurgency-capabilities. Thank you. FYI I am from Myanmar.

Thank you. I know you mean well when you edit out something on the inventory but some of the equipment of the air force is simply not on English language websites so it's no possible to put the source for them. some of the things are there is a documentary by the airforce which has footage of Nanchang CJ-6 with serial numbers going all the way to 50. same for the Mig 29 the serial number for the Migs goes all the way to 36. same with the Mi 24 the serial number goes all the way to 12. same for Mi 17 the serial number goes to 21. the K 8w is assembled in Myanmar since the early 2010s the 50 ordered has already been delivered but no English language news follow up on it. The way the Air force serial numbers works is, for example, the Migs have the serial number 27-36. the 27 is the type of plane and 36 is the number of that plane starting from 01. The source is there are videos and photos of the planes and helicopter with the serial numbers but you would not know it because you are not from Myanmar. You are just editing this page with info from only public scourses. How am I suppose to source thing that does not have anything on? They exist but there only in Myanmar language.Minntheking (talk) 06:13, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- Refer to WP:NONENG, English source is generally preferred. However, you can cite non-English source as long as the source is reliable. See also WP:IKNOWITSTRUE.Ckfasdf (talk) 07:15, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for Informing me I really appreciate it.Minntheking (talk) 11:28, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- With that being said. You should put source/reference for addition of CJ-6, number of Mi 24 and etc on Myanmar air force. cheers. Ckfasdf (talk) 13:29, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
I'm not sure how to put a documentary as a source https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdacSwHgaWQ . For the mi-24 there used to be 9 and as stated by the source on it new ones were commissioned last year bring the total to 12 Minntheking (talk) 01:07, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
- WP:YTREF. Ckfasdf (talk) 02:17, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
- After watching that source, I dont really recommend to use that source because I can't tell who's the author, publisher and when it was released and etc. If possible please find other source.Ckfasdf (talk) 00:37, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- It was made in 2015 By the Air Force and aired on the state-run channel MWD.Minntheking (talk) 00:47, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- FOX 52 What is your problem. DO you specialize in Myanmar Air force? If not who are you to say if what people from Myanmar put in is not true. Minntheking (talk) 08:56, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

Disruptive editing
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Myanmar Air Force. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
Please don’t add or change content without verifying it by citing a reliable source, Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources - If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - FOX 52 (talk) 01:01, 9 August 2020 (UTC) Is photos of the planes at the museum not good enough for you.Minntheking (talk) 08:51, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm TompaDompa. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of largest empires, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TompaDompa (talk) 09:41, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
