Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Little Man may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • *The song "Mali čovek", meaning "Little Man" in Serbo-Croatian language, by the [[Serbian New Wave music|New Wave/post punk band Šarlo Akrobata.

Serbian help needed

[edit]

Hello Milosppf, I'm contacting you because we need some Serbian translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on sr.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Serbian Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 22:54, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi PEarley,

I can contribute to some translating, but I am afraid my personal obligations at the moment are taking a lot of time. How about sending me to translate these personal messages for you, so the job of translating reaches more Serbian Wikipedians. You can also contact people at Wikipedia:WikiProject Serbia for more help.

I would also strongly recommend that the entire translation of process of these articles for Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and Serbo-Croatian Wikipedia is done as a joint effort, since the differences in the languages are minimal, so that thorough standardizing the translations on each of the four Wiki projects for each instance of Serbo-Croatian language, Wikipedia can get the job done the easiest way and not on one, but on four versions of Wikipedia.--Milosppf (talk) 23:19, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Milosppf. You're right, once we get one good translation for, say Serbian, we can make the adjustments needed to use it for all of the wikipedias within the group (except, of course, for the Cyrillic versions). I've started with Serbian as there are a large number of active Serbian speakers on en.wiki, and hopefully we can get some strong translations done over the next few weeks. I appreciate you helping despite time commitments; all help is appreciated, even if minor. I'll email you the message for sr.wiki. Best to you, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 23:33, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have sent you the translation, so check your mail. As for the issue of the Cyrilic version, there is really no problem since Serbian language uses both Latin and Cyrillic alphabet and the Serbian Wikipedia has an option for viewing the same text both in Cyrillic and in Latin.--Milosppf (talk) 00:31, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent, Milos, sorry for the delay in replying (my other job is on weekends). I will post your message this evening, much appreciated. I have a question about the the Roman/Cyrillic functions on these wikipedias - if a new page is created using Roman characters, does the software automatically convert to Cyrillic, or must this be done manually? Thanks, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 16:45, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome and no problem. As for the Latin/Cyrillic pages, each article saves changes to both editing it in Cyrillic or Latin, it is only a matter of personal preference. Each alphabetic letter in Cyrillic has an equivalent in Latin and vice-versa, so the answer is 'yes'. The conversion is automatic for both alphabets since there is only one article with two options to view it, either Latin or Cyrillic.--Milosppf (talk) 17:29, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, that makes life easier. I have posted your translation, thanks again: [1] PEarley (WMF) (talk) 23:36, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, once gain.--Milosppf (talk) 23:44, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Sharlo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sharlo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 12:47, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Obojeni Program 2012.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Obojeni Program 2012.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

 • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
 • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as non-free fair use or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vanjagenije (talk) 19:46, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Branislav Babić has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the prod blp tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Proposed deletion of Tetovirane devojke

[edit]

The article Tetovirane devojke has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references, no claim of notability, fails WP:NSONG and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
