RE:The Mysteries of the Druids

Note: Contents listed are also shown on User talk:ScottSteiner. This is for the record on personal link.
References 8 and 18 had issues in regards to accessing them. When I accessed them, I got a message on both of them that were not shown. Because I could not see them, I was uncertain of their validity. It may work for your computer, but it did not for mine. That is all. Chris (talk) 16:47, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, what error was it giving you? And were you going to the wayback machine urls 1 2 or the original links that they were archived from? ScottSteiner (talk) 17:15, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
They were at the wayback machine urls. I was not able to look at them at first, but was now and they are valid. I just upgraded my IE from 8 to 9 earlier today and was able to look at them now. I will adjust the comments on the review as a result. Chris (talk) 17:19, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
May have just been a server glitch, I have WebCited them as well just to be safe. Thanks for the update. ScottSteiner (talk) 17:22, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

interview request

Hello, My name is Natalia Ioana Olaru and I am a final year master student in the Corporate Communication programme at the Aarhus School of Business, Aarhus University, Denmark. As a sample I chose the English and Danish portals. I would like to invite you for an online interview on the topic of what motivates you, to participate in editing and creating articles for this platform. I plan on doing the actual interviews in the period between 1st and the 15th of May via Skype, MSN or Yahoo Messenger. I am, however, open to other channels of communication too. Please let me know if you would like to participate in this interview and the preferred channel.

Your retirement plans

Thanks for distributing notifications of your retirement plans. I, for one, appreciate knowing that you are leaving due to personal life -- not because of anything that's happened (or not happened) here.

You've made some nice contributions here, and I have a hunch you'll be back some day. In the meantime, best wishes for your future! --Orlady (talk) 14:45, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I'm sorry to hear about you're retirement, but sometimes hard prioritizing is important. You're contributions have been most appreciated; perhaps one day you'll be back. All the best for your future, Arsenikk (talk) 15:07, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
I am also sorry about your retirement, Chris. You sure have made a lot of good contributions to Olympics-related pages since mid-2006, and coincidentally, you were born in am Olympic year (1972). So, when will you be making your last contribution? Jim856796 (talk) 22:40, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Gaza Wertheim, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

identical person as described in the correct spelled page Géza Wertheim

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion () tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Robby (talk) 17:27, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Valentyn Demyanenko

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Valentyn Demyanenko. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - :Compare this and Valentin Demyanenko. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at :Compare this and Valentin Demyanenko - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. LikeLakers2 (talk) 18:34, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of +246

A tag has been placed on +246, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.

If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion () tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DASHBot (talk) 06:00, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Norex

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Norex, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the page that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Template:Grey Cup venues has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Resolute 03:27, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

The article Food Processing Intelligence has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable, no independent sources. Cannot even verify existence as publication is not mentioned on the website of the publisher. Does not meet WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WikiProject Good Articles Recruitment Centre

Hello! Now, some of you might have already received a similar message a little while ago regarding the Recruitment Centre, so if you have, there is no need to read the rest of this. This message is directed to users who have reviewed over 15 Good article nominations and are not part of WikiProject Good articles (the first message I sent out went to only WikiProject members).

So for those who haven't heard about the Recruitment Centre yet, you may be wondering why there is a Good article icon with a bunch of stars around it (to the right). The answer? WikiProject Good articles will be launching a Recruitment Centre very soon! The centre will allow all users to be taught how to review Good article nominations by experts just like you! However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:

 • Recruiters: The main task of a recruiter is to teach users that have never reviewed a Good article nomination how to review one. To become a recruiter, all you have to do is meet this criteria. If we don't get at least 5-10 recruiters to start off with (at the time this message was sent out, 2 recruiters have volunteered), the Recruitment Centre will not open. If interested, make sure you meet the criteria, read the process and add your name to the list of recruiters. (One of the great things about being a recruiter is that there is no set requirement of what must be taught and when. Instead, all the content found in the process section is a guideline of the main points that should be addressed during a recruitment session...you can also take an entire different approach if you wish!) If you think you will not have the time to recruit any users at this time but are still interested in becoming a recruiter, you can still add your name to the list of recruiters but just fill in the "Status" parameter with "Not Available".
 • Co-Director: The current Director for the centre is me (Dom497). Another user that would be willing to help with some of the tasks would be helpful. Tasks include making sure recruiters are doing what they should be (teaching!), making sure all recruitments are archived correctly, updating pages as needed, answering any questions, and distributing the feedback form. If interested, please contact me (Dom497).
 • Nominators, please read this: If you are not interested in becoming a recruiter, you can still help. In some cases a nominator may have an issue with an "inexperienced" editor (the recruitee) reviewing one of their nominations. To minimize the chances of this happening, if you are fine with a recruitee reviewing one of your nominations under the supervision of the recruiter, please add your name to the list at the bottom of this page. By adding your name to this list, chances are that your nomination will be reviewed more quickly as the recruitee will be asked to choose a nomination from the list of nominators that are OK with them reviewing the article.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing this program bring new reviewers to the Good article community and all the positive things it will bring along.

A message will be sent out to all recruiters regarding the date when the Recruitment Centre will open when it is determined. The message will also contain some further details to clarify things that may be a bit confusing.--Dom497 (talk)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Stephen Giles, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Richard Dalton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Typo in Antonio Brabcaccio'surname: redirect deletion

A tag has been placed on Antonio Brabcaccio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo, or other unlikely search term.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you believe that there is a reason to keep the redirect, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template hangon to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A tag has been placed on Veli Lappalainen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

non-existent person (see Talk:Veli Lappalainen#Non-existent person)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copied from the subject's talk page:
"Veli Lappalainen" is an erroneous entry in FIS's database - i.e. there is no skier named "Veli Lappalainen" who competed in the 1930s. He seems to be a mixture of Martti, Tauno Lappalainen and perhaps Veli Saarinen. On FIS[1], the only record of "Veli Lappalainen" is his 3rd place position in 1934 World Ski Championships' 18 km event, but the actual person who placed in the 3rd position in that event was Martti Lappalainen (as you can check here: FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1934). There was an article about "Veli Lappalainen" at fi-wiki, but it was deleted due to this very reason. 85.194.253.105 (talk) 09:03, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it must be substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>substituted</noinclude>).
